Summary: THE APOTHEOSIS OF GOKU
Review: This DVD captures one of the most momentous moments in Anime history: Son Goku's transformation into the legendary Super Saiya-jin. It has some of the most intense action and plot development you'll see. After the desperation of gathering enough ki to finish his Genki Dama -while Piccolo barely manages to distract Frieza- Goku finally launches the meteor-sized ball of energy -composed of the hopes and dreams of all life in the solar system- directly at the Evil Tyrant.After the cataclysmic explosion Krillin and Gohan hobble through the air (having depleted their ki in staving off Frieza) to join Piccolo and Goku in celebration. It is in the midst of their joy that the unthinkable occurs: Frieza has survived the blast, and is seeking revenge! Frieza shoots a blast at Goku, but Piccolo jumps in the way, taking the fatal wound in the Saiyan's place. Anger builds in Goku at seeing Piccolo on the ground, only to face the horror of Krillin becoming the Tyrant's new prey. In a harrowing instant, Frieza telekinetically throws Krillin into the air; as Krillin screams for help, he is burst into pieces! The death of his dear friend fills Goku with unfathomable fury, triggering a most unusual transformation: into Frieza's worst fear. Thunder rolls and the sky is ablaze in an eerie glow, as the usually-calm face of Goku darkens ominously. His heart is consumed with INEXORABLE RAGE; veins pop, eyes blank as tremendous energy is unleashed. A strange, golden aura surrounds this young warrior; purposeful eyes made fiery blue aim straight at Frieza. The Super Saiya-jin is born.

Review: This has got to be the best season 3 episode yet. When Goku turns Super Saiyan, you just know that Frieza's in for it. The battle scenes are great, well, the best. Get it. It's a lot better than any otheer season 3 episode. Trust me.

Summary: The sleeping legend awakes
Review: This installment is a must for all dragonball z fans. It depicts the legendary super saiyan awakening in Goku just in time for him to wage war on Freeza. After watching Krillan die and piccolo sacrifice himself to save Goku from a Freeza attack Goku's anger and rage force him to transform in to the Golden warrior of justice.
With this awesome power flowing through his vains Goku struggles to hold on to who he is. "Now you will know the horror Freeza!" What commences is an all out assault on the evil Freeza who is no match for the newly rejuvinated Goku.

Review: this is one of my favorite movies because it is the first time anyone goes super sayin. also goku is my favorite charecter. this movies has one of the best battles besideds the batle against buu and veggeto. this movie has good quailty and good sound.

Review: This is probably my favorite volume of them all. Goku's transformation sequence to Super Saiyan is an infinity times awesome. I thought Frieza's transformations were cool, but Goku's blew his out of the Namekian Galaxy. An absolute must have for any DBZ fan.

Review: This movie was great. In the first of the three episodes Goku throw the Spirit Bomb, his most powerful attack. It's fun to see that. In the next episode in the video, you get to see Goku go Super Saiyan! This is really cool, and fun to watch. Lastly, the final episode of the video you get to see Super Saiyan Goku in action (well, a little), but it's still awesome. If you puchase any of the currently out videos of DragonBall Z, get this one.

Summary: Finally, the Super Saiyan is born!
Review: This video is definitely one of the best enstallments of the Frieza saga. Viewers get to see the true power of Goku's spirit bomb, aswell as a short but cool fight between Frieza and Piccolo. The action intensifies when Frieza reappears and finishes off Piccolo and destroys Krillin! Then, suddenly, in a wild and very awesome surge of anger our hero, Goku, transforms into a Super Saiyan! The fight between the stunned Frieza and the golden-haired Goku is truly awesome, with some must-see action in the last episode on the video. Even if you are not a really big DBZ fan, this tape is really awesome, and a cool start to Goku's true battle with Frieza. Buy it, your money will be well spent!
