Summary: Great samurai action!!
Review: This is such a great series! At first its a little confusing, but the episodes are so exciting!!!! The only bad thing is, the English voice actors are so horrible. The Japanese language is so much better on your ears, that is if you mind reading the subtitles. But you can learn lots of Japanese words and phrases by listening to it! The story is also really good because it is based on the Japanese history and the real people, but this is set in an alternate universe. And the inserts in the dvd describe the real people that the characters are based on and the history, so you can get some background on the story, and kind of have an idea of whats going on. :P The characters are all great and the animation is so clear!! And the music is defenitaly awesome, it kinda has the "bad boy" feeling to it, especially when Kyo is battling. All in all, this is a series that you should not miss! Especially if your a fan of Rurouni Kenshin or any samurai show. So get it already!!

Review: This is the best series I have ever watched, if you have read or heard it is like rurouni kenshin? get it off your head, it is OPPOSITE, it is awesome, demon eyes kyo, when you see his eyes terror enters your heart, all you are doing is sitting at his mercy, but 4 years ago, a big stone fell onto earth and made demon eyes form into the sweet hearted kyoshiro, 4 yrs later kyoshiro with no clue who he is, a medicine man bumped into yuya, a bounty hunter out to find demon eyes kyo...... and some things happen don't want to spoil.......and the legendary demon eyes kyo is awakend and now........the horror begins HAHA, j/k you have to get this series

Summary: The way anime DVDs ought to be
Review: This series is awesome! AnimeWorks has done a wonderful job with this DVD. The animation is flawless, the characters are wonderful and believable, and even the music is absolutely gorgeous. The humour in the series is well-placed (except for one comment the main character makes about breasts in the first epi). The outtakes extra alone had makes this DVD worth buying. However, what shocked me about this DVD is that there are *FIVE* episodes on it! Unlike the trend of four -or worse, three- episodes per DVD, AnimeWorks gives a great deal of value for the buck. A great buy and highly recommended.

Review: This series is awesome. I was hooked from the first time i heard the line "You heard it to didn't you? The voice of the wind." With a great storyline and awesome charecter development, this is by far my favorite series.

Review: well this review isnt much about samurai deeper kyoo the show, its about the dvd. tthe show is very cool though. just to tell you if you get volume one it has a glitch in the main menu. in setup it says english language, english language with subtitles, and english language with subtitles. yes it says english language with subtitles twice. the topb left english language with subtitles is actually supposed to be japanese language with subtitles and the bottom right one should say english language with subtitles like it does. besides that there are no other glitches on volume one and its an awesome series.

The story line is somewhat similar to rurouni kenshin¡¯s yet it still has a story of its own. [...]. Well it gets greater every episode. Like I said, this is something for everyone and even if you don¡¯t like samurais and fighting, you¡¯ll definitely enjoy this series!!! I¡¯ve said enough so now that you heard so much about it, go out and buy it! I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do!

One was the feared Demon eyes Kyo who was said to have killed 1000 men during the battle. Because his eyes are bloody-red people believed that he was a demon hence the name. The other was Mibu Kyoshiro. During there fight, a girl named Sakuya-sama called upon a meteor. This meteor hit the exact spot where the two were fighting thus causing a big explosion. Everyone believed that these two warriors were dead¡ but are they? Four years after the battle, a bounty hunter called Shiina Yuya who is looking for a man with a red cross scar on his back (apparently that man killed her brother) finds a druggist who has eaten a meal without paying the owner. This druggist says that his name is Mibu Kyoshiro. This guy is a weak ... druggist, could he possible be the legendary Mibu Kyoshiro that fought against Demon Eyes Kyo? However, Yuya decides to follow Kyoshiro because he knows something about the man that she is trying to find. What Yuya doesn¡¯t know is that this druggist has a secret. Buried deeply inside of him is the soul of Demon Eyes Kyo, who has remained silent since the battle that took place four years ago. The question is, how long will Kyoshiro be able to keep Demon Eyes Kyo inside him, for one day HE will awaken. Sounds great doesn¡¯t it. Well it gets greater every episode.
