Review: Finally on DVD, season four of Pokemon brings Ash's adventures in the Johto League to a close. Volume 5 contains seven episodes:

Unbearable - Misty awakes one day to find a Teddiursa, but when trouble begins to start, the Teddiursa blames Ash, Misty and Brocks Pokemon.
Moving Pictures! - Ash finds his old friend Todd the Pokemon photographer, who is looking for Articuno. But when they find a frozen Sunkern, will they be able to work together to defrost it?
Spring Fever - Ash, Misty, Brock and Todd take a break, only to meet a trio of Swinub that take off with Misty's food! Can they find where these Swinub came from, and still keep ahead of Team Rocket?
Freeze Frame - After helping a frozen Jigglypuff, the group are told to climb Snow Top Mountain to find Articuno. When they get into trouble on the Mountain, can the Pokemon they have been searching for help them out?
The Stolen Stones! - After Ash and his friends find a group of Arcanine and their trainer, Kreegan, they learn about how Growlithe can only evolve using a firestone. But when Team Rocket decides to steal Kreeger's firestone, can Ash stop them?
The Dunsparce Deception - When Ash, Misty and Brock find a boy named Bucky who wants a Dunsparce, will they be able to help him.
The Wayward Wobbuffet - Team Rocket snatches Pikachu pretending to be scientists. When Ash realizes that Wobbuffet is in on the scheme as well, will he be able to rescue Pikachu?

You can still buy these episodes on VHS, but it will be cheaper to get them on DVD, and you will get a better picture.

Summary: johto photo finish
Review: vol 5 is probably the best of johto league episodes. It's got better storylines and more crunch in the battles. The reunion of friends gives vol 5 a more exciting punch to watch. The good thing is that it shows how hard a pokemon trainer has to work, especially for the gym badges.
