Summary: A beautiful anime for any otaku!!
Review: "Please Save My Earth" is a personal favorite among many favored animes. The animation is enchanting and the storyline is quite intriguing. And, the *main* character, Alice, is simply endearing. Many anime "leading ladies" can become quite irritating, but Alice is a wonderful character that is quite easy to relate to and love. I was quite impressed with the dubbing in "Please Save My Earth", as well. Subtitled imports are usually the best, as dialogue can become quite awkward and nearly ridiculous in English. However, PSME was very smoothly done.Highly reccomended for most anime fans. However, PSME is strictly shojo, and will not bode well with any non-shojo otaku. ^^

Summary: A truly bizarre series...
Review: ...which seemed promising at first. I watched the first three episodes at a friend's house, and as I drove home, I thought about the series and its storyline. Transfixed by the characters and the intricate tale of their past lives on the moon, I mused upon the story of "Please Save My Earth" so much that the DVD was my first purchase here as well as my reason for registering. My friend warned me against buying the series, but I did not listen. I don't regret buying this DVD, but I wish I chose to watch the entire series before purchasing it. Although it seems like an excellent series, "Please Save My Earth" abandons its storyline towards the middle. It hurtles down an obscure road, and the series starts to seem rushed and pointless. The writer's attempt to pen a "deep" series failed, as "Please Save My Earth" rapidly turns into a confusing tale completely lacking the engrossing intrigue of the earlier episodes. The ending seems particularly rushed, and I did not like it at all. This series should be as long as "Fushigi Yugi", given the intricate storyline of the first episodes as well as the manga. Be prepared for a few typos in the subtitles towards the end of the series. This is a major pet peeve of mine, and as soon as I noticed the typos I felt like I would have been better off buying a cheaper bootleg copy. A professionally-manufactured product should never have typos. "Please Save My Earth" is not an anime to watch if you are new to the genre. You may feel disappointed. I wouldn't recommend buying this DVD to newcomers, but the manga of the same title is definitely worth checking out! To avid fans of anime, this series is an excellent one to watch for the first few episodes alone. If you are a dreamer like myself, envisioning an ending for this series, which showed so much promise early on, is worth the purchase.

Summary: A wonderful suprise
Review: A few years back I was looking for something in anime that wasn't the same drivel I had come to expect. I came across a video with a young boy on the front in front of Tokyo Tower. Well, I found one of the best OAV series' I have ever seen. I have worn the tapes into bad quality by the time the DVD has finally become available. The story is wonderful and if there is any problem in understanding the complexity of the plot then you can get all the general info ya need on the net. I have been a solid fan of this anime for many years and the dvd only made it more enjoyable.

Summary: An Emotional Rollercoaster!
Review: As a devout fan of PSME, I was disappointed to know that there were only six episodes. The series is far too complex to be consensed so much! But, nevertheless, I bought it and I loved it. I fell in love with the bratty Rin, the gender-confused Issei, the nitpicky Sakura (who resembles me in more ways than one), and even the hard-headed Jinpachi. Haruhiko/Shukaido was very well done! His heavy heart was transferred to screen seamlessly (for what the short series allowed). I laughed, I cried, I did that thing where you laugh and cry at the same time! I was touched very deeply. For any reader of shoujo manga (female-based/emotion-based comics) this is a MUST HAVE! This is about the DVD version.

Review: AWOSME ! Get this DVD every body.The art work and story are incredibal . I forgot to mituen the back ground music .That is al so beautifel . I love the character depth and how emotional the guys are , and that they don't make they guys look like whimps when they cry . The dubing is very well done . I loved the voice for Issei and Alice . I would sugest watching it more then once . The reincarnates gets confusing the first time .However I am sure that you'll want to watch it over and over aging . Summary: Good series but inconclusive ending
Review: First I should say that I liked this short series. It's remarkably intelligent and raises a lot of interesting questions about human nature, fate, reincarnation, etc... The characters had some depth (which is impressive for such a short series) and the story had a lot of momentum in the beginning. Unfortunately, the ending leaves a lot of story threads unresolved. After watching the last episode, I found myself looking for another episode. "Surely that can't be it." Unfortunately, that was it. I would recommend renting this one if it's available, rather than purchasing it. While it's a decent series overall, you're likely to be disappointed by the ending.

Review: I bought PSME because I was young and idiotic and I heard there was light shounen-ai (homosexuality) content. Can you tell I'm an bishounen fan girl? Well anyway, PSME is much more than what I imagined it to be. The plot is intriguing and very original and the characters are complex and real. There Japanese voice actors are all pretty well known and their voices are just beautiful. The music is gorgeous with the composing team of Hajime Mizoguchi (Jin-roh) and Yoko Kanno (Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop). I suggest for anyone who wants to sit down for three hours and be completely ensnared with what may happen next. Unfortunately, PSME has several draw backs. First, and most notable, this is taken off a 21 volume manga. So A LOT has been extracted. The ending is rushed, confusing, and not very conclusionary and various event are just left hanging. Despite that it really is a wonderful story and does extremely well in telling the story despite its very limited time. Many mangas made into OAVs of movies suffer from butchered scripts - Earthian, X, and Tokyo Babylon both where cut up into virtually unrecoginizable storylines - so PSME actually is one of the best compared to some other mangas made OAV. The other disappointment is that the translations are used rather liberablly. I am no expert on Japanese, I know very, very, little, but I could tell times where they just made up their own meanings. Example: one time in Japanese Rin says "Yokatta." The literal translation is "I'm glad." The subtitles said "Thank you" which is completely inaccurate. And in the dub he says "All right." It is rather annoying, but still nothing really bad happens to the story or characters by the messed dialogue. Overall, I love this series. I own nearly half of the manga - though it is in Japanese and I cannot read a bit of it (yet). It is one of my favorite series and will remain so. It has so much depth to it and is really quite stunning! I highly recommend Please Save My Earth - Boku Chikyuu wa Mamotte!!!

Summary: Worth buying
Review: I finally saw this anime for the first time this weekend.It was so funny well on the part when Issei finally let his feelings out. I was laughing and gigling!!! LOL
It was kinda confusing during the first time I saw it especially when the last two reincarnated scientists showed up. I was like "who's playing who now?" but other than that everything is perfect though i Havent read the manga yet.
