Inu-Yasha - A Girl's Best Friend (Vol. 2)

Summary: Couldn't ask for anything better.
Review: Inu-Yasha is a work of art. It's got everything, no doubt you've got to be pretty thick not to find some interest in this. It's overflowing with action, romance, and humor. Although the American version has some edits and cuts it's still better than most dubbed versions of anime you'll find. It follows the adventures of a young girl, Kagome, who is thrust into a new world through a magical well. There, she meets Inu-Yasha, a half demon dog-boy who was under a spell for the past 50 years. It was after she freed him that she realized she was the reincarnation of Kikyo. When the Shikon Jewel breaks into many pieces that are scattered about their world, it is Inu-Yasha and Kagome's job to find the pieces, before they fall into the wrong hands, and let Kagome purify the jewel. Inu-Yasha wants to use the jewel to become a full blooded demon. Although there are only 3 episodes per disc, it's worth the money. The animation is very good, not the best but the story makes up for it more than enough. Please buy it! You won't be sorry you did. If you get Cartoon Network its on at 11pm on Saturday. I hope this helped people who were undecided about whether to purcahse this or not. (And I'm not 12..I'm 14..I just dont feel like making an account hehe)

Review: Inuyasha follows Kagome down the well and into her own era. A battle follows as Yura's hair follows Inuyasha down the well and into Kagome's era. Realizing that Yura is after them Kagome decides to return with Inuyasha to fuedal Japan and battle Yura who has stolen Kagome's jewel shard. Not an easy feet when Yura's heart is stored in a place other than her chest. Then Inuyasha's elder, full-demon brother, Sesshomaru, arrives with Inuyasha's mother in tow and demands Inuyasha tell him where their father's tomb is or his mother will suffer. Inuyasha rescues his mother from Sesshomaru, but the woman is something other than what she appears to be.

Review: Inuyasha will take you breath away (i havent seen the DVD but I watch it on cartoon network) i have seen every episode since the beging and it gets better every show! this is one of the best animations ever! if you dont record every thing like i do buy the DVD its easier

Review: Lets get this one started now shall we. Let start off by saying this is one of my favorite anime. But the DVD is not so hot. It only contains 3 episodes per disk this one has 4-7, only 3 episodes and for the price.... The only reason I am giving this 3 stars is because 1. It is a great series, 2. The picture is fair, and 3. the sound is fair. But the sound and picture look better on the DVD than they do on the show. So don't get this DVD and wait untill Viz releases the COMPLETE first season of Inuyasha.

Review: Sesshoumaru is awesome, I love the voice (David Kaye), the look, & he always seems so heartless, but he's not. In an episode, I don't remember which one, but Sesshoumaru saves the life of a little human girl named Rin. Which reveals a nicer side of the cold hearted demon. Anyway this is the final apperance of Yura, Kagome is actually the one who kills her not Inu Yasha. Also the first & I think the last apperance of Inu Yasha's mother, which turns out to be the un-mother, Sesshoumaru & Jaken put her up to it, of course. I HATE Jaken, for one thing he's ugly, he has yellow bug eyes, his mouth looks like a bird beak, his skin is green, & he has bird toes. Other than Jaken it's a great DVD.

Review: The village is attacked by Yura of the demon hair and InuYasha (with the help of Kagome) defeat her. Then, InuYasha's bigger brother comes along and is looking for the tomb of his father to get a powerful sword.

Review: This anime is GREAT!! I love InuYasha!! I especially liked this volume because I also like InuYasha's older brother, Sesshomaru!! InuYasha battles him for his father's sword, Tetsusaiga! As I said before, this volume is wonderful! It's a perfect addition to any anime collection (I know it was to mine).
