Summary: some of my fav. episdoes
Review: i don't have the dvd but i've seen all of the episodes on this. I'm surprised that no one's mentioned the un-mother (which is in Tetsusaiga, Phantom Sword) but those scenes can be a little creepy (and a little funny-I LOVE Jaken) some highlights of this dvd are the aforementioned scenes, chibi Inu-Yasha, the battle scene between Inu-Yasha and Sesshomaru (which is also in Tetsusaiga, Phantom Sword) and Yura. i'm not really sure whether this dvd goes from Yura to Tetsusaiga or from Rabbit Hole and Aristocratic Assasin (so some of those might have been spoilers...sorry) Long Live Jaken

Summary: one of the best animes
Review: I haven't got the DVD but i have seen it on CartoonNetwork. the is a great anime with lots of action, romance, and comidy. each character has a past that is somewhat mysterious. Take Inuyash for example he has a past that in most episodes is reviled more and more. It's also a good change from other animes. So if you get bored of the constaint booms, thuds, puching, and screaming of Dragonball-Z this is the perfict one...

Summary: Great Series
Review: I only started watching Inu Yasha a few months ago, but I have found it to be one of the best anime series I have ever watched. I really really recomend this series to anyone who has ever liked anime. It is basicaly an action-packed love story. You get attatched to all of the charecters throughout their adventures through feudal Japan. Unlike some anime whose sole purpose is to teach morals, Inu Yasha's storyline is very intricate. The show is full of very detailed villans and youkai. Unfortunaely, the English dubbed version is not quite as good as the origanal. This is mainly because of the voice acters and little edits here and there. Overall though, the English version is great. I love the acter they have playing Inu Yasha. The cuts are not all that bad either. Yes, even though I am a girl, I do still like every little gory part. Well anyways, I absolutely love this anime, and I am sure that anyone else would love it too.

Summary: Inu-Yasha a birllant cartoon!
Review: I recommend this to anyone. Young or old, this is something anyone could be pleased with. Inu-Yasha is my only favorite anime cartoon to watch, sorry no other cartoon really gets me, other than Inu-Yasha. A suggestion I have is that you should watch it from the beginning so that you will have knowledge of who is who.Watch the movie first though, Its called Inu-Yasha Affections Touching Across Time DVD, this will tell you a bit about every character and if you go to extras(note its ALL in japenese) but yes there are subtiles,(Another movie is soming out, its the second part, not to ruin the movie but theres a part where Kagome gets shot with an arrow, that's all i remember.) you will get to see almost all the epsodies made, from how Inu-yasha meets Kagome, to how he even breaks his fathers sword the Teasiga*spell check?*. THIS IS A MUST BUY!

Summary: Inu Yasha Continues Strong
Review: I strongly recommend purchasing the first DVD before or along with this one, as it concludes the battle with Yura of the Demon hair.
Yura is a youkai (phantom, ghost, demon, whatever) with the unique ability to manipulate the hair of dead people to strangle, cut, or control people like marionettes, and she's got the few shards Kagome has managed to collect. Twisted, ruthless, and seemingly invulnerable, Yura proves that she is more indeed than Inu Yasha alone can handle.
Beginning on this DVD is the first appearance of Sesshomaru, Inu Yasha's elder pure youkai half-brother, whose elite ethnocentrism and cold hatred for humanity make Yura look angelic by comparison.
The violence and macabre supernaural themes are unsuitable for children under 13, but anyone interested in seeing how effectively these themes can be juxtaposed with those of the classic antagonistic romance/comedy in anime will find this and other volumes of the Inu Yasha series a welcome addition to their collection

Summary: Entrancing, as always
Review: I will start out by saying that this DVD is even better then the first (not that vl 1 wasn't great). We get some very nice character interactions, art, action, and new info on Inu-Yasha. Like the last DVD, this one unfortunetly ends on a cliffhanger, due to the regretable fact that Viz is only having three episodes on each DVD, wich means that if they continue this way it will take 30 DVDs and [$$] to get all the 90 episodes that are in Japan at the moment, and there is no sign I.Y. will be ending any time soon. However, despite this, I still whole-heartedly reccomend buying this, and all the other I.Y. DVDs. The show really is worth the money and episode count.

Summary: Takahashi's best--but where's the boxed set?
Review: I've bought the first two DVDs, and I'm enjoying them a lot...except there's only three episodes per definitely-not-cheap disk! It only costs a few dollars more to get a whole season of some equally good cartoons. So, I'm going to wait on buying any more Inu-Yasha until I can get a boxed set of each season.

Summary: Even better than the first!
Review: If you thought Inu-Yasha Down the Well was good, you will be amazed with the performance of this one. This DVD contains episodes 4-6 which is the sesshoumaru sega.(The DVD after this one is called A True Warrior Never puts a Woman before a Battle.)That DVD also introduces Shippo, but I won't review any more than that.Anybody who is thinking about buying Love Hina should check this out in addition to it.
Also the show Inu-Yasha comes on cartoonnetwork's Adult Swim at 11:00 and 11:30 on Saturdays.Starting January 13th mon.-thur. it comes on at 12:30.The content of this DVD edited, but I strongy suggest nobody under 10 should watch it without an adult. It contains violence and brief nudity. To some it all up it's a good show and I suggest you buy it.

Summary: Good Doggy!
Review: In this DVD, Kagome and Inu-Yasha finish the adventure with the demon Yura of the hair. Inu-Yasha finally says Kagome's name for the first time instead of stupid. Then they come face-to-face with Inu-Yasha's older brother Sesshoumaru. A cold-hearted full demon, unlike his hanyou brother. (*hanyou=half demon)A battle begins over the legendary sword, that was left behind by their father. Tetsuisga, (the sword) can not be pulled out of the stone by either brother, but it turns out, in a strange twist of events, that Kagome...is the one in fact who can pull it. Why could that be? Watch the next dvd to find out!

This dvd is brilliantly dubbed in English, and goes faithfully to the story lines. Nice work by Viz! And, a must have for Inu-Yasha fans!
