Summary: Good images but not much more than that
Review: I saw the first 10 episodes of NG Evangelion. The first 2 or 3 are very good, with a good story and a good plot, but then... it happens. Stupid capricius characters are mixed with the good ones . Shinji is a serious well done character, but the other pilots like the red haired girl -don't remember the name, my unconcius doesn't allow me to- sucks! The silent girl -don't remember the name too- is a good one to. Like I said before, the first 2 or 3 episodes are good but then the story loose the line and the Angels are not important -except when they show up, which doesn't happens very often-. Not the best anime I saw, not the worst.

Summary: Pretty cool
Review: This is one of the better anime series to come out in recent times. The animation is of a reasonably high standard, interesting mecha designs and alot of very cool concepts. The strength of the series however has to be the story, it is strong and exciting. the dvd comes with some trailers and character bios but nothing else really, which is a a shame as the opportunity was there to do some really interesting things. My only real complaint is that although I enjoy nearly all the characters in the series, they seem to be sterotype anime. Alot of anime series seem to use the same sorts of characters. But the series is still very exciting and absolutly worth the money I spent on it. Give it a watch.

Review: I have to say, the first time i've seen this anime series i was wowed by its fantastic animation and its deep story line! I will rate this movie 5 or if possible i would even rate it 25! This anime series is the best A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Review: At first I was doubtful about buying this DVD, but I have no regrets; it's one of the best, only compared to Ghost in the Shell and Macross (1st series and Plus). Awesome animation, music, and history make Evangelion a blockbuster. A must have for every anime fan

Summary: When will the end of evangelion be released?
Review: First, I'd like to say that any new edition of evangelion is good news for all, though those first chapters are the ones I like less (this is the reason of the four stars) because in those chapters, the series seems too much constrained by the clichés of manga, and it does not give any clue about its amazing development (in plot, depth and intensity). However, those chapters are a must if you want to make some sense of the rest. Second, I would like to learn when the films containing the conclusion of the series will be released in video or DVD. As the few who have seen them or the ones (like me) who had red the plot in internet, most of the questions that haunted the fans of the series gets their final answers (some of them can be anticipated), though they are not simple nor reassuring. Third, a word about this conclusion, the official version says that the film was elaborated on response of the queries of the fans of the series, who demanded a real end in spite of the abrupt closure of the series. However, if you examine thoroughfully the final chapters (25 & 26) you will draw the conclusion that the director had already in mind the facts contained in the film. For those who had seen the series and know the plot of the film, you only have to remember who is shown dead in the chapter 25, and who actually dies in the film, and realise that the images used in their depiction are the same. In fact, there is the posibility that the chapters 25 & 26 will actually be the 27 & 28 with the film taken their places. So "what has been destroyed is restored again" and the shocking conclusion of the series finds its real meaning.

Review: first i thought this was going to be another Gundam. but i was wrong. This was way too confusing. Makes no sense that a city can go through hell every episode and their it is again nice and shiny in the next episode. And what r these Evas>? robots or animals>? first 4 episodes r very confusing, espiacialy with 3 main character kind of off in the head. Why did i buy it>? I'm a anime nut so if ur also a nime nut but it, its not that bad.

Summary: Neon Genesis Evangelion
Review: Evangelion is a masterpiece, Akira meets X-Files; this wonderful animation makes you really reason and forces you to watch it over and over. If you like the emotional state of Fight Club than you will love Evangelion. The 1st four episodes might not make senses yet but everything starts to make sense on the 2nd episode. I've seen it on VHS. I hope they continue on making the rest on DVD!

Summary: Neon Genesis Evangelion
Review: Mmmmm! This animation is pretty good for me. Each actors are described more details and living! I already have had the whole series films one year ago. However, I still have some questions about the content of Neon Genesis Evangelion. These questions keep me to watch these animation again and again. Maybe you will know why angels want to destroy human if you figure out the Bible and the story of Neon Genesis Evangelion's relationship. Finally, I still think the animation is a good cartoon that you should watch.

Review: It's great to have EVA finally becoming available on DVD! The only caution I would give prospective buyers is that, as other reviewers have noted, many of the still screens (Shinji's photo of Misato, Shinji's school transfer documents, etc) have been replaced with English-language versions. Considering that they kept the Japanese audio (English default), it's a bit odd seeing English visuals... As for the sub/dub debate, well, the dubbed version was screened in its entirety on Australian television, so that's what I'm used to. Because it's DVD, both sub and dub are available, so it keeps everyone happy; it's also interesting to see the differences in dialogue.

Summary: Really Cool!!!
Review: I had seen two chapters of the evangelion series two years ago. I must accept that i don't like it too much. This year, however i give a chance to this series, and the result is awesome. The history (At last the four chapters that comes in this DVD) focus into the history of the characters not forgetting the battles between evas and angels. Now about the DVD; This is a superb release even when you compare it with a Disney DVD. I can't believe that there are people who thinks that this DVD have bad graphics. I saw it on a 42 inchs Sony TV and I cannot catch any scratch or something like that on this presentation. The sound is really cool (At least in a two baffles configuration). The dubbed version in spanish is very good. If you love this series, buy this DVD remember, it will NEVER lose it's quality. If you don't know about Evangelion, this is the best way to enjoy it!.
