Summary: Heart Collection One rocks!
Review: I love this DVD. Ever since I bought the original uncut season one in Japanese I've fallen in love with Sailor Moon all over again! For anyone who is a true die hard fan of Sailor Moon, get this series!! It may be a little expensive but just buy each one once every 2 months :D I loveee Haruka and Michiru, they are such a cute couple and so in love. Haruka's got a very tough attitude but that makes her character even stronger because you don't really run into rude, ignorant characters like her in Sailor Moon. Ohhh and I just loved the part where Mako-Chan attacks her. Their intro music is also really beautiful. I can't wait to get Heart Collection two!

Summary: What has happened to everyone!
Review: Contrary to most, I believe the people who dubbed Sailor Moon made an excellent choice in not making Neptune and Uranus homosexuals. I don't think people need to be subjected to that kind of trash. People who stand behind their so called "relationship" are obviously lacking in morals and in no way can they call themselves Christians. I am a huge fan of Sailor Moon and, if you can stand listening to Serena's new voice, viewers who would like to be spared from the two cartoon characters who are portrayed as lesbians should definitely stick with the dubbed version.

Summary: Sub strikes the Dub
Review: I remeber the first time I saw the espisodes contained on this DVD on TV, and CRINGING. Not only was Usagi's voice awful, but it was the same bad dub show ever. Sailor Uranus and Neptune became cousins and Professor Tomoe was more than annoying. This DVD is only for those who are not a fan of the way the TV show is done. Uncut and original, the episodes on the DVD make good of the promise that we got from the ending of season 2. The Daimon in the series became much better than the Youma and Droids in the previous series and the questions revolving around Mamo-chan and Usako are even more fun to examine. Besides, it's always fun to watch Usagi get hurt isn't it?

Summary: Welcome Sailor Moon S "Heart Collection" Into Your Heart!
Review: I'm sure everyone has read the reviews below and gets the jist of it all: Japanese/Subtitles Version = Good...English/Dubbed Version = Bad. Any die-hard Sailor Moon fan can tell you that so much is lost in the translation. The thing that can never be translated is the raw emotion in the Japanese versions. In the Japanese version, when Usagi (Serena) cries, or someone died, her anguish makes you feel like you're right there alongside her. Take my advice, these are well worth the little extra money they cost.

Summary: Sailor Moon S Series DVDs - excellent overall
Review: ...

For those of you who don't know, Sailor Moon is an anime series about a group of girls with the ability to transform into warriors so that they can battle the forces of evil. It sounds like something that's been done to death, but this series pulls it off nicely. Each episode of the series contains a good deal of dramatic action, with some comedy thrown in to make the series a bit more appealing. Originally it was intended for pre-teenage girls in Japan, but it has drawn in fans from many age groups and nationalities. The series began airing in America as early as 1995, but the episodes were horribly edited, and the dialogue was butchered. The poor time slot didn't help things ever, and eventually it vanished without a trace, until it was picked up by the Cartoon Network, which aired several new episodes, but these suffered the same flaws as their early North American predecessors. But at long last, Pioneer has created the solution to the problem - DVDs of the series, in all their original uncut glory. And what better place to start releasing DVDs than the S Saga, which was by far the best set of episodes?

Now on to the DVD itself. You get 7 episodes, which you can view in English or Japanese (if you choose the latter, subtitles have been provided.) There are also some minor extras, such as a gallery with info on Sailor Moon (the character.) In the episodes, they even left in the eyecatcher sequences!Unfortunately, these DVDs have some flaws. First and foremost, lack of extras. These character galleries are pretty cool, but I would've liked to see something like interviews with people who worked on the series. Also, THE INTRO IS WRONG! The S Series has three intros, and this is the third one. It should be the first one (In the first intro, Sailors Neptune and Uranus are shown as shadows, so you can't identify who they are as humans. Sailor Chibi Moon does not appear in the first and second intros.) USING THE WRONG INTRO SPOILS SOME SURPRISES! In addition, the next episode previews are not here (though oddly enough, the daily episode previews are.)

Overall this is an excellent DVD release for an excellent anime series. Contrary to popular belief, THIS DVD IS NOT OVERPRICED. It is slightly longer than most standard episode DVDs, so the slght price increase shouldn't be a problem. Fans of the original uncut Sailor Moon series, I strongly recommend you buy this item.

Summary: Sailor Moon rules!
Review: This is volume 1 of 6 in the S season, known as the Heart Collection.

I am a big fan of Sailor Moon, and I was glad to be able to see the Japanese version of Sailor Moon S for the first time. The subbed version is much better than the dub, and Uranus and Neptune aren't cousins *shudders*. This disc contains the first 7 episodes of the season, including one of my favorites, the one with the Daimon Nekonelle. This DVD is a must-buy for fans of Sailor Moon who want to see the third season on DVD

Summary: Must for Original SM fans!
Review: Took my breath away!, dont bother watching the dub, the voice for Serena is horrible, stick with the Sub, its great! keeps all the original names, and worked on an Australian DVD player without getting a converter!
The sub is perfect, and the music at the start is excellent, buy this DVD if you love Sailor Moon!!

Summary: Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon
Review: This has to be the best season of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (Sailor Moon), because the shows start to finally get away from Usagi and her love for Mamoru. Plus the addition of Haruka Michiru and Setsuna, make the show so much better, simply becuase the three outer senshi(scouts ::shutters:: damned dubbed). Anyways if you have only ever seen the american version of the show you are missing out on complete episodes and character personalities. You need to by just one DVD that doesn't have the horrible dubbing to it, and you will fall in love with show and it characters.

Summary: It's super!
Review: Sailor Moon has always followed a very strict formula: 1.The bad guys are after some kind of thing. 2.They send a creature to retrieve said item.3.The Sailor Team vanquish the creature and save the day. The formula isn't the reason it works, it works because its done with a sweet humor and a lot of charm. After watching the horrible dubbed version i realized that it doesn't hold a candle to the original japanese version. The japanese version adds a whole different layer and texture to the series, the acting is excelent with subtle nuances to each performance. The engilsh version is just dreadful. The plotline is very easy to follow, the death busters are after 3 talismans that united will form a holy grail with inmense power, by removing the talismans from people with pure hearts, the removal of the heart crystal guarantees the persons demise. Also trying to capture the talismans are the two new sexually ambiguous sailor scouts, Uranus and Neptune. Uranus and Neptune are obviously involved in a same-sex relationship but it's done in a very tasteful manner. The DVD edition contains 7 episodes. SEVEN EPISODES!... So keep an open mind and enjoy.
