Rating: Summary: Real, whith sensivity and imagination... Review: I like this kind of movies because they alert us for "the reality" that surround us all... by presenting us new futures... and we must prevent some disasters that we may provoce... giving us at the same time sensibility to inovate in a world of a constant progress...
Rating: Summary: Great Action, Great Special Effects shame about the DVD Review: I have just watched this film and thought is was brilliant. Everything about it is well crafted into a spectacular movie. The only bad thing was that a friend the other day warned me about the DVD version saying that there were problems. This shows up normally during the action scenes, where the screen starts jumping, skipping and displaying little blocks across the screen.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding sci-fi drama you MUST experience on DVD! Review: This movie has everything! Suspense, drama, a great story line and special effects that will have you jumping in your seat!
Rating: Summary: Great Movie But The Dual Layering Causes Annoying Problems Review: I love this DVD but the pauses and rewinds that happen because of the dual layering is annoying. The Dual Layering is probably why it doesn't work with Samsung or Pioneer players.
Rating: Summary: MUST OWN IT! Review: I loved this movie. I saw it 7 times in the theatre. I left the theatre every time speechless. It has been the best movie of the decade. If there is one movie I must own and see over and over again it's this one. Also Keanu Reeves is AWESOME!
Rating: Summary: Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound? Not Superman! Review: With the birth of AI(artificial intelligence) computers evolve beyond human control within the next two hundred years. In actuality, we already have forms of AI existing today. They become more complex and wonderous at a rate paralleling that of the advancement of technology itself. Therefore, the beginning of the end for the human race lies in the birth of a sentient life form, created from information alone. Other movies that expound on this future phenomenon are T2 Judgement Day(like you haven't seen it already), and Ghost in the Shell. The latter is an animated movie that I highly recommend, second to The Matrix.
Rating: Summary: Excellent: Graphics, Story line, Special Effects and sound Review: This movie starts from the beinging until the end with action. I recommend this movie for anyone who likes action movies. Bet you will watch it again within one day after the first viewing. I have watched it now 4 times and everytime it gets better. Has a great story line. It will keep you wondering.
Rating: Summary: The Best Review: This is one of the better movies I've seen in a while. It has plot, action, drama and suspense as well as being thought provoking. The special effects really kick!!
Rating: Summary: A must see! (That is, if you can see it all!) Review: An engrossing story line coupled with amazing special effects. I'm not a big Keanu Reeves fan but he passes along a believable character. I hadn't rented the movie last week when it was released waiting for the DVD version to arrive at my house. The movie was excellent up until the movie stopped playing at chapter 19. What a gip. Now I have to find the VHS to watch what I missed after Ch. 19. Has this happened to anyone else? I can't wait to see the whole movie though. I'm hooked. The extra features on the DVD make it a must add to your collection unless there is a manufacturing problem with the disk mentioned above. I probably would have given the movie 5 stars had I been able to watch it all. Anyway, risk it and buy it!
Rating: Summary: Special Effects+Hong Kong Action Cinema+Kung Fu=Entertaining Review: It is unfortunate that the martial arts are so weak, because the rest of thefilm is really quite good. However, this is a great concept of a movie: combine greatspecial effects with the explosiveness of a Hollywood action film, martial arts and the camerawork and choreography of Hong Kong action films, and blammo! You got yourself a winner. Keanu Reeves trying to do martial arts, is kind of a letdown; but there is enough here to make you ooh and aah that force you to stay glued to the screen.
