Summary: You know the movie, now get the rest
Review: I don't have the time to waste on telling you how great PULP FICTION is: YOU already know or you wouldn't be coming here. But if you want to know about the incredible stuff packaged in here then let me tell you that this DVD set is worth it.

The scenes that were edited out were extraneous, although I enjoyed Uma asking Travolta whether he was a Beatles or Elvis fan. The international trailers for the film were okay. But for any fan of this incredible film, what makes the set worth the price are three things: the synchronized trivia game, the independent spirit awards footage, and, if you missed it, the dialog with Charlie Rose. All together this will tell you why PULP FICTION is an established classic already, and will be for generations to come.

Summary: Pulp Fiction: Film Review
Review: Pulp Fiction has everything that being outstanding holds dear. Infact next time Im around Oxford-way, I am going to call in on their university and request that they introduce two new words into the English dictionary meaning Outstandingly outstanding, and those words would be PULP FICTION. It has everything, and more. A whole selection of some of the most talented actors in history, a supurb soundtrack that is one of those "must-buy" types, action, comedy, violence, romance, morals, three brilliant stories, excellently woven to create one epic masterpiece, and moments that will have you reaching for the rewind button. Infact, glanceing at the five stars I have given this movie, while writing this to you, i do not beleive they do the film justice. This is probably my favourate film of all time - and thats saying a hell of a lot. When this film was released in 1995, it became the most popular film of the year, smashing its rivals - Braveheart, Mortal Kombat, Forest Gump and Casino, and its even more popular now. The majority of critics had nothing but praise for this cult classic, and those that did set out to criticese it had only one ground on which to fight their "cause." They complained about the violence factor, after which Tarantino quite wrightly fought back with two responses. a) All the scenes including drugs and violence are shown to present serious consiquences to the people involved - showing us that these actions are wrong and that nothing good can come of them, and b) that compared to many other successful gangster movies "Pulp Fiction" lacks much distressing violence. However these complaints were without a doubt in the minority and Pulp Fiction still remains one of the most popular films ever created. Should you buy it on DVD? Huh - its worth buying a DVD player, just to buy this film on DVD. I give it 6 out of 5 stars!

Summary: The best movie of the past decade
Review: Pulp Fiction remains the most powerful movie of the past decade. Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece recieves its much deserved special edition treatment with plenty of goodies. We have some behind the scenes look at the making of some of the sequences of Pulp Fiction, interviews with cast and crew, award ceremonies where Pulp Fiction was named winner, and some very interesting facts revolving around how the movie was made and what was used on screen. The movie also features a subtitled commentary on the film with important, if you are a big fan, information for each shot or scene.
Put this big load of features aside, the movie itself is worth owning this DVD for. What can I not say about Pulp Fiction. It is a perfect 10 movie when it comes to scaling fairly. Tarantino put all of his heart, effort and witty talent on paper and then transformed the words into images that created this film. Whatever Tarantino made afterwards wouldn't matter, he will still be viewed as the modern day film revolution starter. Yes, Pulp Fiction was a revolutionary piece of work. The film mixes violence with humor in a way that I have not seen before. The dialogue is the highlight of Pulp Fiction, you will do more listening to Pulp Fiction than actually watching it. You can literally close your eyes and still enjoy Pulp Fiction. Tarantino uses imitations of real life conversations between his characters that makes you feel intimate with these people onscreen. Our leading gangsters Vincent Vega, played brilliantly by John Travolta, and Jules Winfield's, played even more brilliantly by Samuel Jackson, conversation about Amsterdam, the metric system and what they put on french fries in Holland instead of Ketchup (mayonnaise!) on their way to finish a kill is both hilarious as it seems realistic. The graphics are a combination of Tarantino now reknowned trademark; gangsters in black suits; with a touch of homage to his favorite films, whether its blaxploitation flicks; Samuel Jackson's hairdo; or Deliverance type thrillers; the infamous rape scene; or Samurai ninja flicks; the sword Bruce Willis uses to kill some very bad guys. Yet, you get the sense of Tarantino's inspirations with the soundtrack. The music that Tarantino produced himself and added to many scenes of his movie is a combination of R&B; Al Green's Let's Stay Together; Funk; Kool And The Gang's Jungle Boogie; and western/country; counting Flowers On The Wall.
This makes Pulp Fiction not just a movie but one big entertainment experience that stood, and still stands, the test of time.
If you haven't been Pulp Fiction-ized yet, well its about time.

This special edition is a must-have

Summary: The Best Quentin Tarantino Movie!!!
Review: Pulp Fiction winner of Best Picture at the Cannes film festival,
and winner of Academy Awards for Best Original Screenplay in 1994
is one of the greatest films ever made. The film is about 5 main caracters really and the film is told out of sequence making it perfect. The film follows hitmen Jules(Samuel L.Jackson) and
Vincent(played to perfection by John Travolta),Butch Walker(Bruce Willis, who is awesome in his portrayal),Marcellus Wallace
(Ving Rhames),and his wife Mia Wallace(the beautiful Uma Thurman).Although Ms.Uma Thurman is on the cover she doesn't exactly have the biggest part in the film. Also in the crossfire is a couple of robbers Honey Bunny and Pumpkin (Amanda Plummer & Tim Roth). After seeing a little almost complete robbery inolving Honey Bunny and Pumkin,The film starts out rather hilariously as Jules and Vincent are going to complete a "job" and they're talking about how Marcellus Wallace had thrown a man out the window for simply giving Mia a foot massage, after that we go to Vincent who is taking Mia out to a restraunt called Jack Rabbit Slims, being careful not to flirt.Mia who ens up being a cocaine fiend asks Vincent to participate in a dance contest, where there we have one of the most memorable scenes in recent cinema. After another scene involving Mia o.d.ing and Vincent having to pump adrenaline inside her.We go to Christopher Walken explaining to a young Butch about his dead fathers watch we find that Butch is running from Marcellus. After some of the weirdest stuff ever put on film we end up in a Pawn Shop basement with some leather freaks and after that horrible ideal we're back with Vincent and Jules right after thay had completed the "job" and they make a mistake making their car a mess.In comes Mr.Tarantino as Jimmy,
"Do you see a sign that says "Dead ni**er storage?".
The film all and all is a drug drama, comedy, and just fun film all combined into one pot, this film is a must have for anyone who owns a DVD player, please enjoy.

Summary: Obnoxious, Repulsive, Irresponsible, and Ultimately Empty
Review: ...those are are the best words I could think of to describe Mr. Tarantino, ditto this overrated, overpraised, and overhyped dung heap of a film. No wonder the world's in the state it's in.

Summary: Classic Film
Review: Pulp Fiction is one of the best gangster-type films you'll ever see. Shot imaginatively, with crisp dialogue and a fabulous cast, a lot is right about it. Uma Thurman gives a classic performance and Samuel L Jackson reveals a lot of hidden depth in his role. Some of these actors were only just coming to prominence when the film was made, but they give some of the performances of their lives. With dark humour added in to its achingly cool indie appeal, its a great proposition and essential viewing for any movie conossieur. 4 stars.

Summary: This is Fiction?
Review: Pulp Fiction is My favorite Movie! Now I could continue to write this hundreds of times but you probably would like some incite as to why. You see very rarely does a movie come out with such great writing that it leaves feeling questioning if what you just saw was fiction. So I guess it helps that the word Fiction is in the title, because if it wasn't I might mistake this for reality. This is not to say this is an incredibly realistic story but the dialouge used sounds like something any body might say. I never heard one line that sounded forced or weird. It all just fits into place. Like the now famous talk about the Mcdonalds in France. Vincent (John Travolta) is telling Jules (Samuel Jackson) about the differences between a French Mcdonalds and an American one. This is a hilarious thing but also a realistic sounding script, like something you might be talking about on the phone with your friend. This is proof of the greatness of Mr. Tarintino's writing he can make genuinly funny lines out of nothing conversations. The special edition extras are well worth the price, I'd really rather not take the time to write them all but lets just say theres a good amount. The plot is just too hard to explain but I'll just say it involves three different stories that intertwine with eachother. oh and big props for reviving Travolta's carrer. Please go watch this movie and hurry it is a genious film with every thing needed to make you feel cool just because you watch it.

Summary: Duh it's a Tarentino flick
Review: In the bizz of movie watching certin names are linked to certin subjects. Steven Spielberg= Hart warming, Gorge Lucas= star wars and Indiana Jone, Quentin Tarentino= Violence. In pulp fiction you get a violent story line that has about three storys that come together at the end. It is a great movie that is a must see.
