Summary: Over acting & odd script -- but a great violent b movie.
Review: In looking for the soundtrack to this movie, I came across the dvd & reviews. This movie IS pretty bad, and everything that 'Matt's' review said it was. But that is why I found it so entertaining. It made me LAUGH. ... If you are a fan of the classic Hong Kong assembly line action movie (terribly scripted & badly acted violent action movies) -- you will enjoy this. Its all that with a TOUCH of hip'ness. It's like watching a car crash -- you dont want to but you cant quite help it.

Summary: Entertaining direct-to-video...
Review: Of the direct-to-video flicks that City Heat Productions has distributed, I'd say "24 Hours in London" is probably one of their best. It has a Pulp Fiction-Snatch type of feel to it with several different storylines going on all at once. The main plot concerns a British gangster, Christian, after a lady squealer who is being protected by the cops. On the way we meet henchmen Tony and Bubbles. The film has some neat action and an inspired script. The acting is standard for low-rent films. I liked the character of Bubbles. The actor who played him did a nice job of bringing him to life. But overall, "24 Hrs." is a forgettable movie with a few cool one-liners and an easy-to-sit-through pace.

Summary: Pointless and Dull
Review: Some movies are just unnecessary. Occasionally a film attempts to do something bold and just misses the execution. Maybe I'd hate that movie too, but at least I could respect it. This steaming pile does nothing whatsoever. It aims to be a cliche and ends up being a very weak one at that. Aim low and MISS! Devastating. Ever done that in a bar or club? Painful.

The characters don't look or feel right for their parts, the acting is horrid, the story is worse and the execution is off. I just can't find anything positive to say.

Summary: Gross Missuse of Firearms
Review: The first gunfight in this movie is so painful, it was a migraine headache to watch the rest. There is even a karate scene after that which looks like amatuer wrestling at best. I somehow doubt this is camp. God help us all if you decide to buy this.

Summary: Waste of Time
Review: Unlike Guy Ritchie's films, which seem to come together as the plot builds, this film falls apart as the story progresses. The characters are not convincing at all (horrid horrid acting). Some of the roles don't make any sense...The jokes are lame. It does not have that sense of tounge in cheek hipness that rolls through Lock Stock and Snatch.

With no attatchment to any of the characters in the story, the plot unfolds rather tepidly, since all of the acton is just redundancy. The gangsters don't even look intimidating, Bubbles (the womanizing sex fiend) looks more like a woussy effminate disco clown, Tony the american mobster looks and sounds more like someone who wants to be a gangster, rather than a James Gandolfini type. The main villian is almost laughable and his serious monologue moments (why he uses a sword, for instance) seem so silly that it would have been better if he didn't talk at all.

As more plot twists are thrown in at the end, the plot holes actually get alot worse, rather than come together....
