Summary: decent action movie
Review: This movie has some good suspense at times, but it takes awhile to get to it. If you like action movies, you might like it, I thought it was alright. It's not as bad as a lot of people say it is, but it's not great either. Jon Voight does the best job of all of them playing the villain that just wants to catch a huge snake for money. The reasons I didn't like it as much as some of the other good action movies was because you could definitely tell the snakes were fake and the crew fought each other more than they did the snake. But other than that, it's not too bad of a movie.

Summary: It would be okay to rent but not buy
Review: Okay I have written many reviews for Amazon.com and many of those reviews are good. But for this movie I would really have to give it 3 out of 5 because it is a movie that you would only need to see once. The effects and movement of the snake are teriffic but the story goes nowhere and the ending is obvious. If you like Drama that is obvious to figure out go ahead if you like watching a movie more than once in a day go ahead and watch it maybe even buy it but if it were up to me I would probably say SAVE your money for a better movie. Spend the 5 dollars on renting it.Trust me if you haven't seen this you will understand once you buy it.

Summary: Takes a little bit too long to get the point!
Review: To be honest you didn't see the snake in the first 1/2 hour which made the movie slightly boring. It's about Jon Voights character - an evil guy who lets his 'mates' (Jennifer Lopez, Eric Stolotz, Ice Cube) into the world of Anacondas! I think that Jennifer Lopez did a really good job of acting and the snake looked pretty real but it needed the get to the snake quickly to make it a better movie!

Review: I gave this movie two stars for trying. But really I cant believe I wasted money on renting it. It has got to be one of the worst movies when it comes to being realistic. You can oviously tell the snake is a fake, it looks like they cut it out and pasted it on the screen it doesnt even fit in. I am horrified of snakes and love a good movie but this was the biggest rip off I have ever seen. And think it would have been better if they would have spent more time on trying to make it look real. Please don't waste your money on this movie.

Review: There isn't much to talk about. This movie which actually stars Jennifer Lopez is not Jaws. But yet I can't say its awful its right in the middle. Jon Voight was a fair bad guy. Ice Cube is a bit under used but all together its okay. The thing that boosted the entertainment for me was that my expectations were so low and it turned out to be a better movie than I anticipated. Action goers will not be disapointed unfortunately horror fans you will find this to be just as bad as the 3rd "Jaws" sequal.

Summary: one of the worst films I have ever seen.
Review: I was dragged along by friends to see this in a theater. Because they were friends I forced myself to sit through it. There is no real plot and I frankly cannot understand why Jon Voight is in it. Ice Cube, who has done good work elsewhere, is totally wasted in this. The best thing about the film is the not- all-that convincing computer graphics...in short: utter garbage! If you have escaped seeing ANACONDA thus far, consider yourself blessed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! ps: Amazon, you really need a no-star rating! In fact, you need a NEGATIVE rating!

Summary: Please don't make films like this! Jon Voight you're awful!
Review: There should be strict guidelines to ensure films like this never get made! Jon Voight, usually a credible actor, gives THE most wooden, stilted, hammy acting performance I've ever seen. Even Jennifer Lopez and (briefly) Eric Stoltz cannot prevent me from saying this is one of the worst films I have ever seen. Please take my advice and do not buy this, or even watch it if your friend's rented it. And Jon Voight should never act again.
