Summary: Totally Kickin'!
Review: This is one of the best cartoon series out there. It is fun, entertaining, and has little twists of humor in it. I have grown up watching the Batman cartoons, and at 13, still love and never miss this awesome new series. Terry is smart, funny, and fast on his feet when it comes to fighting crime. When BATMAN BEYOND: THE MOVIE hits the stores, I will definately go and watch the movie.

Summary: Batman Beyond DVD goes BEYOND expectations
Review: This is something of a rarity. Not only do you get the first two episodes of Batman Beyond, or 'the Movie' as they call it, but you get four more episodes as well. This, is just speaking on the value vs. the VHS version. The VHS version gives you 'The Movie' and that's it. The DVD gives you tons more value, and it has a french language track for those of you who's Primary language is French. Oui? Now. On to the story. Batman Beyond as a whole is a wonderful departure but continuation of the legacy of Batman. We get to see Bruce Wayne, not as the hero, but as a mentor for a new Batman. Set in the future of Gotham City, Bruce Wayne has long since hung up his cowl (although the opening scene has him as Batman but I don't wish to spoil it) and has sit by and watched his own company become corrupt. There are some nice references to the original Animated Series and it ties in beautifully. If you're an Animated Series fan, I HIGHLY recommend this great value on DVD. If you don't have a DVD player, get one instead of buying the VHS version.

Summary: Batman Beyond: Deeper, Darker than ever
Review: This is the key explanation on how Batman Beyond all started. Despite some opinions that Batman Beyond is merely a Batfake that does not capture the essence of Batman, I think that Batman Beyond had successfully maintained the dark and mysterious essence of the Caped Crusader. Even though Terry McGinnis, the new Batman, does not really fall into the character of Batman as much. He's more like Nightwing or Robin instead of Batman, but then again, there is only one man who could be Batman and that is Bruce Wayne. And Bruce Wayne is still in the picture, running the whole show, and Terry McGinnis is the brawn-with the brains still in the making. All and all, Batman Beyond has more mystery than the original Batman ever could have. It puts Gotham questioning and wondering on why Batman suddenly reappeared after twenty years of absence. He is faced with more challenge since he no longer has a firm relationship anymore with the authorities as he did in the past due to his twenty-year absence, sometimes he has the police shooting at him. Batman's quest in Batman Beyond is not only putting crime to rest but to also regain the trust of Gotham and its authorities. In my opinion, this movie and also the whole series of BB is worth seeing. It's definitely not a mediocre attempt to revamp Batman, it's a must-see for all Batman fans because it is definitely succeeded in developing a new kind of twist in the whole big picture's of Batman's plot. And hey, a Batman who has to worry about a girlfriend on the side should be interesting, right? I haven't gotten a chance to see the uncut version, but hopefully I will one day.

Summary: A Very Good Beginning...
Review: This pilot for the popular WB cartoon does what long-time fans of the Batman animated series hoped it would. It took the legend of Batman to the next level as well as to the future and created a new hero that builds on the old without lessening the old's impact. A strong script, anime-influenced art and good voice work propel the tale of the new Batman's arrival at breakneck speed. And Kevin Conroy is excellent as an old, somewhat surly Bruce Wayne.

Too bad the series has not lived up to its promise since. Watch this and then try the rest of the series with some trepidation, and wait for this fall's "Return of the Joker" video.

Summary: Cool show about Batman
Review: This video is awsome. However, Transformers would kick his sorry little but anyday (also on the WB, called Beast Wars at the moment or Beasties if your in Canada). But if you are a Batman and an animation fan this is defently a steal.
