And they only have to walk 200 miles to find this tiny ranger station in the middle of the great wide open. How can it get better then that. O wait I know, the wolf. Summary: The Hatchet
Review: This movie is closely based on Gary Paulen's excellent book The Hatchet. I'm not sure why they changed the title, since they kept so much of the plot. It is about a boy whose plane crashes into a lake in the middle of the wilderness, and he survives using his wits and the tool for which the book is named.
