Summary: Waste of Time
Review: Man Im glad I got this as an office Christmas gift. The only good thing about this movie is I hope I can sell the DVD.What a horrible movie.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Typical 'B' Video
Review: OK, so PYTHON will never be considered a masterpiece. D'uh, it's a B movie; they're supposed to stink. Given the plot was rice-paper thin, the monster was about as realistic as a Texan actually liking tufu, and the flat dialogue... well, there's not much else is there? Seeing several cult actors snuff it was fun though, 'cause let's face it- their acting in this movie made you want to see them die even more. And Frayne (the star)- just keep the cinema roadkills Bruce Campbell made (and still does) in mind; you can succeed by producing [junk]. Hopefully, your work on the SCORPION KING will be swept off the cutting room floor and put in the DVD edition.

Summary: Snnnaaaaaakkkeeee!
Review: Okay let me start by saying this movie does not take itself seriously. Whew! Too many times a film of this kind can't quite figure out what it wants to be. Not a problem here. It's all tounge and cheek . William Zabka(The bully from the Karate Kid and Just one of the Guys) Plays Deputy Greg, a Small town Deputy Sherrif Who just never left town to become that hotshot FBI agent. He's got bigger problems, seems a military flight carring a VERY LARGE and VERY HUNGARY Experimental Snake has gone down in the woods surrounding the small town of Ruby. The rest as they say is history. Robert England and Casper Van Dien also show up to hunt the Great and Hungary Beast The Dvd itself has some nice extras and a great 3D Menu. It looks and sounds great. If you liked Anaconda you'll like Python.

Summary: Oh Man....this was a tough one to sit through!
Review: Okay, I had just finished watching the awful dreck that was "Night of the Komodo", and decided I still needed more large reptile punishment...so I pop in "Python". "Night of the Komodo" had a no-name cast, lousy script, lousy special effects, and was a complete waste of time. The good news is "Python" had a couple B-level actors in the cast, and appears to have had some kind of budget...the bad news is, that it is as much a waste of time, and as hard to sit through as "Night of the Komodo" was. You may see Robert Englund's name on box, or hear about Jenny McCarthy's cameo and your interest might be piqued....squelch that interest right away, or you will be dooming yourself to a wasted evening of watching this film! The thing is..I love B movies, "Tremors" should have been nominated for an Academy Award it was so good. I am first in line whenever a new "Friday the 13th" or "Halloween" movie comes out. And I still think the original "Pumpkinhead" may be one of the most underrated movies of all time. Hell I even found something to love about Lou Diamond Phillips & "Bats". So I do know what I am talking about when it comes to B-movies. "Python" is just bad. I think the thing that killed this movie for me, was the half-hearted attempts at comic relief. If you are going to include comic relief make sure it's funny. The two dimwits working in the plating factory was just awful, then you had the goofy realtor trying to sell McCarthy a house.....just plain bad. To top it all off, you have Wil Wheaton sporting purple hair and body piercings? Having Wil Wheaton try to come off as a "bad boy" is like having Clint Howard pose as a male model..it just won't add up. Robert Englund must have been looking for a quick buck to appear in this, and he is completely wasted starring opposite the kid from Starship Troopers who sports a 70's porn-guy mustache that is very disturbing. I have wasted too much time on "Python" as it is, so I will wrap this review up by saying...please, please stay away from this thing!!

Summary: Dumb, sure, but enjoyably so.
Review: Python doesn't take itself seriously at all, and that's important to remember when reading a lot of these reviews. Python isn't trying to be Anaconda. It's just a silly giant killer snake movie with a silly-looking giant killer snake (I'm sorry, but CGI just looks so incredibly fake when improperly mixed with real live-action footage... I miss the days of "The Thing" with real, honest-to-goodness special effects), silly accents, silly moustaches, and silly performances all around.

The plot's a bit wacky... Casper Van Dien (who is not only supposed to play an NSA agent but a SOUTHERN NSA agent.. with a John Waters moustache!) shows up for little more than a cameo, but it's great to see a bunch of B-grade young character actors (Dana Barron, David Bowe, Sean Whalen, Jeith Coogan, John Franklin, Wil Wheaton, and, while not young, someone who overacts with the best of 'em, Robert Englund) chewing scenery like mad.

And, heck, it's got a cute lesbian scene. Dumb, enjoyable fun that everyone clearly had a good time making.

Summary: If loving this movie is wrong, I don't want to be right.
Review: Python has it all, explosions, plane crashes, lesbian campers, giant snakes and extreme cycling. And then just when you think it can't get any better, Casper Van Dien shows up!!!! At its heart, though, Python is not just another giant snake gone crazy movie, it's really about friendship, redemption and second chances. It also has some pretty freaking great snake special effects. I heartily recommend this movie to anyone with a sense of irony and a taste for the incredible.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: not as good as anaconda
Review: Python is an okay movie to watch. The snake effects are very good, but the movie lacked taste. And the sex scene in the begining is what knocked down two stars on my review. I think nudity is stupid and shouldn't be in movies. Anyway, this movie has some great CGI work, but like I said, it wasn't as good as anaconda.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Anaconda [Imitation]
Review: Python is the mistakes that Anaconda made times 2. It flashes a well-known cast, which are not even on the screen for more than 5 minutes. Robert Englund isn't even introduced until about half-way through the movie and Jenny McCarthey dies within 3 minutes! The plot is just riddiculous and there is no blood at all. The Opening scene with the women was rather tasteless but original. Basically it is a st8 to video snake flick with no plot that is fun to watch.

Summary: Alright
Review: Python was one of the best movies I have ever seen. The reason i like it is because it has Robert Englund in it. and he is in the top 10 gore kings. this movie has alot of suspence in it you never know what is going to happen. if you like suspence films rent or buy this movie at your local video store.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING THIS MOVIE!!!
Review: Python was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I barely understood the movie. It didn't even give me any scare. I thought Anacoda was better than this movie. It stunk!!!!. I would not recommend this movie to you. It's just a waste of money.
