Summary: Best Disney Movie!
Review: The Lion King is a great movie, much better that #2! In Lion King, Simba is destined to be the new king. His father Mufasa teaches him about the circle of life and all. But Simba's uncle Scar wants to be king. He tells Simba about an elephant graveyard where the hyenas live. Simba brings his friend Nala with him and tells his mom Sarabi he's going to the waterhole. Sarabi tells the bird, Zazu, to watch them. Simba and Nala do a song and get Zazu stuck under a hippo. They find the graveyard, but Mufasa has to save them from hyenas and they get busted. Mufasa tells Simba all about the kings guarding him from the stars. In the rest of the movie, Mufasa dies and Simba runs away thinking it's his fault. He finds Timon and Pumbaa and grows up. Then he meets Nala again and they go save the Pride Lands. This movie is VERY well-done and funny, especially Timon's dance. CHECK OUT THIS MOVIE!!!!

Summary: Not a Disney fan but this movie is just excelent!
Review: I'm not a big fan of Disney anymore,it's not very active lately and I really don't like movies for kids.I was still a kid when this movie came out and I just fell in love with it.It's the BEST Disney movie of all times.I haven't seen it in a long time though so I don't know how I'm gonna react when I watch it again. The story is just so great and it has an excelent plot.I think Disney deserves an applause for this classic.I love the music, animation(Many beautiful backgrounds). There are many tragic scenes in the movie, excelent for the people who like this kind of movies. One thing that I have noticed is that it's not only a movie for kids. There are some violent scenes and even sexual scenes. There are rumors that the word "SEX" was written in the movie somewhere when Simba and the female Lion were about to do it.It's just an excelent movie with a lot of beautiful themes. It's by far the most beautiful and succesful animated movie ever created.

Summary: Best Disney movie ever made?
Review: I think so. This movie was wonderful. Sad, hopeful, and in the end happy. It presented all the aspects of life and how everyone is linked together in a way. The characters were also very vivacious with the lovable lion cub Simba, his adorable friend Nala and the other hilarious jungle animals. The music was brilliant from beginning to end. A must see film!

Summary: One of Disney's best from the 90's
Review: I watched The Lion King last night and enjoyed it. But I have not seen this film getting played on tv. Even on abc who played Toy Story and Toy Story 2. Which I say this is better, because instead of toys, this are wild animals in this movie. Which goes from a warthog named Pumbaa and a meerkat named Timon to lions. As The Lion King opens, yong Simba (Jonathan Taylor Thomas from Tv's Home Impovement) is born to Mufasa (James Earl Jones from Field of Dreams) and Sarabi (Madge Sinclair). Simba's mother is absent though most of the movie. (...) Watch this instead of Toy Story 2.

Summary: This is the last of the classics
Review: This movie, Beauty and the Beast, Lady and the Tramp, The Fox and the Hound, The Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmations (animated), Bambi, Dumbo, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are what I call the classics. Movies that were made by Disney after The Lion King movie are usually stupid, using the same story line... although there are some exceptions (Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc., and some unanimated ones). There has only been one sequel I have enjoyed (Toy Story 2) all the other sequels are just the same story lines (102 Dalmations) or the old story lines reversed (Little Mermaid 2, Lion King 2, and Lady and the Tramp 2). I am 13 (I didn't feel like registering) and I still enjoy the "classics". I wish Walt Disney was here to set the Disney company back into making the "classics".

Summary: got ripoff?
Review: ok,i had to give this two stars for one reason. sure it was a great film, but it was such a ripoff of Kimba, the white Lion. I am a huge anime fan, and when i saw this, me and my friend looked at eachother. had we seen this already? almost everything is identical. from the names simba and kimba to the faces of their father's in the clouds. everything is identical. disey should pay...
