Review: I thought this movie was great when it was in the theater, but the DVD is really great! The Bonus features on the DVD were excellent, especially the Feature Commentary with Stephen Sommers and Bob Ducsay. If you are into movies this is a great one to add to your collection.

Review: This movie was, without doubt, one of the best for the year if what you seek is to be entertained. If you are looking for something to calm you troubled sole and bid you rest look somewhere else. The special effects are a tribute to modern movie making and succeed in bringing you face to face with imagination. Well done and thank you producers, directors, cast and crew.

Summary: Fine, I'LL rate the DVD!
Review: Since no one has taken the initiative to critique the movie on DVD, I'll take the liberty. First of all, since when are movies rated by "Oscar worthy" ratings? "Oh, it was good, but not OSCAR WORTHY." "It sucked, hardly lives up to an OSCAR movie." Well, I say, "Blow off". This movie was ENTERTAINING and lots of fun. You go to movies to forget about stuff and sit back, and be entertained. Not all of us want to watch sad, dramatic movies all the time. The Mummy is a nice break. Entertaining, fast paced and enjoyable. As for the DVD, I am completely take aback. Definetely a must - audio commentary with the director and editor (they're pretty cruel, banging up the extras and all), "Building a Better Mummy", an hour long documentary in the workshops of ILM, Visual Effects Formation, Deleted Scenes, Theatrical Trailers and DVD rom features. The menus are awesome and the picture quality is great - although you ocassionaly get the "grainy" bits in the drak places. But outside, the Anamorphic Widescreen really captures everything well. Just one complaint about it - the two theatrical trailers just play together - you can't choose whether or not you want to see the teaser or theatrical trailer. Oh well... The DVD is amazing and well worth the money. A real waste are the DVDs that have the movie and the theatrical trailer. THIS is how to make DVDs. THE MOVIE - 4 stars THE DVD - 5 stars

Summary: Great special effects, scary, but within reason, good humor
Review: I enjoyed the movie. I liked the characters. The idea was fun. It was scary without being so gross I had to close my eyes. I enjoyed the humorous moments, and the romance was cute. The computer effects were super. It didn't quite make the impact of Raiders of the Lost Ark, but I would like to see a sequel with these characters.

Review: Not only does this movie have a hair cut George of the Jungle, but it has action, and lots of comedy also.I like how they made "The book of the dead" and "The book of Amon-Re."If your looking for a "buggy good time," trip to Egypt. Buy or rent this movie,and you will look at every other movie and think of it as dull.

Review: The Mummy moves far too fast to be a good horror flick,and it's far too predictable to be a good action movie. Substituting special effects for plot development and real acting, the Mummy will satisfy most viewers looking for mindless escapism. However, anyone looking for anything deeper will walk away disappointed. Save your money and go see the Sixth Sense while it's still in the theaters.

Review: This movie was fun, which i did not expect. The special effects were nice, the plot was ok, but I still wixh it was scary. As is, I still think it deserves 5 stars. The DVD also has some nice features on it.
