Summary: Great Adventure!
Review: A fantastic and entertaining adventure that reminds me of the days of Indiana Jones! Funny and exciting!

Summary: Effects can't do it all!
Review: The Mummy is surely one of the worst films this year. This film proves, that some fancy computereffects can't save a stupid history with some ekstremly stupid acting. It tries to follow Indiana Jones all the way, but the result is so sad. I'am very disapointed...

Summary: I was looking for action and adventure, not Citizen Kane
Review: I saw this in the theatre and also in my own home and I was pleased both times. I wanted escapism and I got it. The special effects were great and the dialogue was just what I expected, tongue in cheek. Some people take their Sci-Fiction too seriously. This is not brain surgery, just a movie

Summary: My favorite movie since Shawshank!
Review: What can I say? I have a new favorite movie! I was hesitant to see it at first because I thought it was a horror film. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was more of an Indiana Jones-type action/adventure! I thought Oded Fehr was amazing, Brendan Fraser great as always, Rachel Weisz, a great heroine, John Hannah hilarious, Arnold Vosloo sexy and expressive, but my personal favorite was Beni, played by Kevin J. O'Connor, who despite his weaselly demean, charmed me right out of my movie seat. I bought the movie the day it hit the stores and I've watched it nearly every day since. I am looking forward to a sequel, and find myself holding out hope that somehow, someway, Beni will weasel himself into the sequel as well!

Summary: The jedichihuahua says OLE'
Review: Excellent movie that combines special effects, adventure, and horror to produce a entertaining picture. The dvd has many "extras" such as deleted scenes and interviews with the director and cast. Well worth the dinero.

Summary: Like wet sand in my underwear.
Review: This movie was good: good like catching a soup-plate in the throat at high velocity. Beyond the cheesy special effects (and if you thought they were good I have a lovely "pong" game I could sell you), all the viewer is left with is an empty feeling where good acting should have been. I also have to equate its script content with an adult-form Barney movie in its diluted attempt at entertainment. It was scary alright. Scary inasmuch as the masses opinion that "the mummy" was more fun than self-mutilation. I just wonder exactly how much the entertainment business will have to eat before it explodes from overconsumption. Heaven help us if this movie was intended to be "good".

Summary: You must get this it's brilliant, you'll love it(probably)
Review: I went to watch the Mummy at the cinema 4 times and it is just brilliant. The special effects are unbelievable, much better than Phantom Menace and the Story is good too. It is exciting all of the way through and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I don't know how it got away with a 12 rating it should be higher but it is pure brilliance. This could possibly be my favourite film ever. It is excellent. But it doesn't suit everybody, but won me over and should you too. 98 out of 100.

Summary: Typical formula movie
Review: Typical formula movie. X number of car chases, X number of shoot-outs, X number of explosions. Good special effects can't save a movie with no suspense, no mystery, and no atmosphere. This movie bears no resemblance to the original. Save your money, this is a waste.

Summary: suspenseful
Review: Congratulations to Fraser and Weisz. They acted naturally in this film. The Mummy is educational on the archaeological, biblical, historical, and technical point-of-view. I saw the film four times already and though it was partly fictional, the aspects of the Egyptian Mummy is intact. I hope that more films in this essence would be made. I hope, too, that I could contact your two lead male & female stars through e-mail for any response. Congratulations, again,to the whole production!

Summary: This movie is Unbearable!
Review: This film is just plain bad, astoundingly so. The one liners were so stupid I was actually embarrassed for the actors that had to deliver them. And Brendan Fraser never even took off his shirt! :( Someone please scrape this movie off the bottom of my shoe.
