Review: This movie is awsome! O.K., so maybe a few parts are a little weak, but the rest of the movie makes up for it. The cast was GREAT! (What can I say? It's Brenden Fraser!) This is a must see movie. I have seen 10 times, and I still love it! If anyone disagrees, or agrees, write me!

Summary: Fraser at his best
Review: George of the Jungle does it again! Being an "old" woman of 31 makes me blush to say I enjoyed this movie because of the men in it. Basically, there was only one woman and she didn't flaunt that much. However, your taste in men will be satisfied because of the variety of characters. The well-toned, serious "Mummy." The humorous brother. And, well, Fraser looks his best in the movie. The special effects were great, but, alas, the guys were the lure. Hollywood, wake up! There are women with hormones in the audience out there!

Summary: More Imhotep and Ank Su Namun
Review: Boy, that spelling could be WAY off. This movie was basically backwards, if you ask me. The best part of it was the ancient egypt scenes with the very sensual Imhotep and Pharoh's beautiful mistress. What fabulous sets, too. LOVED it. That whole part was simply awesome, but so short. Sigh. The rest of the movie was OK, but just a little too slapstick for me. I like the humor, but couldn't there be just a LITTLE restraint? Did anyone slip on a banana peel? Maybe....Fraiser was good, almost great (but I couldn't remember the character's name until I read these reviews). I will have a hard time forgetting Imhotep, especially in my dreams. I hope we see a lot more of that guy. "Riveting" comes to mind! And again, the effects were good, but you saw most of them on the trailers. A practice that should be outlawed.

Summary: What a fun movie!
Review: A handsome hero, a heroine who's smart and adventurous, a creepy, gooey monster, a few yuks, and some cool special effects. I loved it! The comedy inserted throughout complimented the horror nicely and took the edge off...especially for squeamish viewers. This was definitely my favorite summer movie and the video is on my Christmas list.

Summary: A well created combo of all past mummy movies !!!
Review: This was a great action/adventure movie with some convincing work from ILM. The DD 5.1 surround track was excellent, especially when the aeroplane comes flying over your head. I live in a townhouse complex (hopefully for NOT much longer) and had the neighbour phoning to complain. That's how loud I had my system turned up. It was nice to see Arnold Vosloo as part of the cast, being a South African actor. The bonus material on the DVD was very interesting along with the feature commentary. There's even a computer game included. If you're looking for great adventure then this is worth watching. You will enjoy it a WHOLE lot more if you watch it with the DD 5.1 sound track on a good system.

Review: Well, I loved the Indiana Jones movies and [guess what!] I love this one as well!The special effects are really good and many of the scenes are hilarious.However, I've only seen this film once, so I'm not sure if it starts to get boring once you've seen it a few more times.

Summary: Great movie, but the comedy should have been kept out.
Review: The Mummy was a great,I repeat great movie! The only thing that disappointed me was the over-use of comedy. I enjoyed the comedy, but the way that the movie was marketed implied that it was a thriller, not an action/comedy film. It was a great light-hearted romp that everyone can enjoy. It should have been a scary movie though.
