Summary: Don't be fooled
Review: This movie is awful. Vin Diesel is an awful actor, the screenplay is absolutley trash, the director obviously has no idea how to make a good movie. Vin Diesel always plays the tough guy and it was good for a change to see a different kind of role in Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan. Everything is too fake. TOO fake. Don't be fooled by the awesome action, all right, it's too fake. Beleive me, my father was a race car driver, he's seen this movie, it's all bull. He noticed a fault every time they got into a car. This is a pathetic try at a tough racing movie. Trust me, it's not worth it.

Summary: Diesel fuels and Walker lays down the law
Review: great action movie with some nice car racing and stunts. Diesel fuels up the screen with his part and Walker lays the law down with his undercover cop role. both do extremely well. Ja Rule makes his acting debut and he is great. the sequel I recommend for fans but im a fan and the second one was lame

Summary: High-octane excitement for us red-blooded American males...
Review: Alright, here's my dilemna. I consider myself an avid an' knowledgeable film buff, a fairly tough critic, an' one who loves an' appreciates art house, foreign films, classics from the Golden Age, an' 'specially films with thought-provoking themes an' social commentary. So how do I say to my fellow film critics without an ounce of humility that I truly enjoyed this movie? Ahhh, who the hell cares, I jus' do. Simple as that. Rob Cohen's fast-paced, heavily-energized an' turbo-charged film is jus' every red-blooded American male's dream come true. A movie filled to the brim wit' incredible HOT dime-piece honeys in tight leather pants who swivel their hips whenever possible, turbo-charged powered-up sports cars, an' a blazin' hip-hop soundtrack to give it that urban audience.

The story is simple an' plain: rival gangs race to establish their street cred amongst the swirl of revving engines, crime, passion, an' power, an' blond-haired, blue-eyed Paul Walker is Brian O'Connor, the prototypical pretty boy cop who takes an undercover assignment to infiltrate it. Vin Diesel plays Dominick Terreto, the mos' notorious street racer in L.A. an' a man's man, who takes a liking to Brian one night after he aids him escape the police. In spite'a some suspicion, Brian is initiated into the gang, an' eventually ends up fallin' for Dom's younger sister Mia, played by Jordana Brewster. But the further entrenched in the lifestyle he becomes, them ore morally confused he becomes. But as his superiors begin weighing down on him for information an' he becomes reluctant to give up his new friends, as Dom's rivals become increasingly hostile in their tactics, their world begins to unravel.

To every one's surprise, 'The Fast and the Furious' became the summer blockbuster of a couple years ago, an' made stars outta the generally-unknown cast, though for better or worse, an' obviously not 'cause'a their acting chops. The biggest star turn was made by Vin Diesel, whose cool, confident swagger an' screen prescence has gotten him the lead in some increasingly-god-awful movies (the worst of which bein' his dramatic turn in the laughable 'A Man Part'). In spite'a what you've heard, Paul Walker actually turns in an okay performance; he's hardly a magnetic prescence on screen (in fact he really has no prescence at all, he's jus' kinda there), but he delivers his lines honestly an' earnestly. Jordana Brewster turns in a pretty decent performance, but the scene-stealer is Michelle Rodriguez. She plays Dominick's girlfriend, a dime-piece round-the-way girl named Leddy, bringin' a tough an' sexy prescence to the role (This ma girl, we gettin' married). What Ja Rule's purpose was I don' know, but a soundtrack album came from his involvement; What does that tell you?

Alright, this movie is not gon' be remembered as a classic, but it will be remembered as a representative for it's time. Once again, for better or worse. It seems the movies pullin' in the biggest bucks these days are stylistic, brainless, big budget action flicks with little subtance, but enough entertainment to draw you in. In some people's eyes, that could mean this movie represents the downfall of true art in the cinema. But, hey, it entertained the hell outta me, so I won't complain jus' yet.

Summary: Awful, dreadful and nearly unwatchable...
Review: I was really looking forward to seeing this movie too ! A few fast cars and some of the other mindless trappings that usually accompany this type of action film can make for a cool diversion. Unfortunately, the story line is absurd and the dialogue is unintentionally laughable. As for the action scenes, the 1/4 mile drag races last more than a minute which about the time it would take a fast runner to complete the distance. This movie disappoints across the board...

Summary: Copied from Hong Kong movie
Review: I don't see any creativity in this movie since they copied the whole plot from a Chinese movie called " Legend of Speed" and not given any credit to the original film. Well....if you guys even have a chance to watch to original, you will know what I'm talking about.

Summary: GREAT BONUS FEATURES
Review: The movie is still the same. Nothing was changed. The movie is pretty good, but I've seen it a million times. The new bonus features are awesome, though. This tricked out edition has a prelude for 2 Fast 2 Furious, deleted scenes, behind the scenes of 2 Fast 2 Furious, trailers, and a feature called Trciking Out A Car. It shows you how to do tricks and how to drive fast. That one is my favorite feature from this DVD. The rest are good, too.

Summary: The slow and plotless.
Review: Basically POINT BREAK with souped up cars instead of surfboards. Not much in the story and action dept., this flick has the momentum of a tricked-out pedestrian.

Summary: Great movie!
Review: THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS is just such a cool, fun, action-packed film that you can't help but love. It has a very cool structured plot and it never becomes the least bit boring. The acting is good, and wheather you're hyped-up by the action or twiddling your fingers in suspense, you won't leave the film unimpressed. Unfortunately, it's somewhat underrated, too, becasue all the critics just think it's a bunch of mindless, stupid stuff with bad acting. But, that's what they said about ROCKY, too, and look what happened! What do they know? So, in conclusion, if you love undercover cop movies and racing movies, you can definately buy this before even rening it.

Summary: You have to love this movie
Review: First of all, this is a GREAT movie, Ive had to have seen it at least 50-100 times already ever since I bought it. I rented the original addition and it was great, but this one is better by far. It has a lot more stuff to watch, a prelude to 2 fast 2 furious, and other stuff about 2 fast 2 furious. Theres even a mode where the director talks to you through the movie as you watch it, and you have the ability to see deleted scenes and different camera view. I highly recomend this, especially if you love this movie as well as the serious that it is becoming.
