Summary: It really takes your breath away!
Review: It is one of those traditional thrillers that you won't see the driver's face... but wow, great aerial images of the West Coast and an impeccable sound cannot deter you at all. You want to see without a single intermission, not even for a drink. It's one of the catchiest movie I have seen in years. From minute one until the very end. Action, action, action. Good acting, somehow predictable but very well produced in the widescreen presentation. A memorable film for the world of the CB's radio in the Interstates of life.

Review: Joy Ride is an "edge of your seat" thriller that has you asking the question, "what's going to happen next?" throughout the whole movie. The first time I saw it, I had rented it and I quickly went out and picked up my own copy. Its definitely the best movie I've seen in a long time! I strongly recommend checking this out. You will love it.

Summary: For the love of Candy
Review: Since that time of year is really just around the corner, this is a good Halloween movie. JOY RIDE is more than that however. This movie takes a bear minimum of a plot and creates shear paranoia and fear. Steve Zahn and Paul Walker play a practical joke on an unseen trailer truck driver via CB radio as they travel cross-country with devastating results. Zahn and Walker picked the wrong guy to play a joke because he turns out to be a very demented, determined and unrelenting predator. There are some truly frightening and suspensful scenes in this movie. It's a good viewing experience and there are some genuine lessons to be learned.

Summary: A Modern "Duel" on Premium Fuel
Review: If you are in the mood for an uncommonly witty, decidedly unpredictable, savagely sardonic, and oppressively ambient adrealine pumping suspense thriller, than look no further than Joy Ride. Joy Ride commences by the telling the tale of Lewis Thomas's college summer break. Lewis has been platonically friends with Venna Wilcox for a while now, after impulsively selling an airplane ticket home in excange for an inexpensive automobile junk heap. Lewis decides to do the chivalrous thing and drive all the way to Colorado to pick Vena up from college and take her home for break. On the way there, Lewis discovers that his mother would like for him to pick him up. After picking Fuller up, Fuller purchases a CB player.... well, I said enough. WATCH THIS MOVIE, I'M SURE YOU'LL BE NOT DISAPPOINTED.

Review: This movie is definitely a guy or a girl movie. The action is great the speed of the movie is awesome and the movie is awesome and the movie is hilarious. If your a girl you'll love Paul Walker, he lights up the screen. If your a guy Leelee who plays Venna is great as well. This thrilling movie to anyone who is in the mood for a Funny Thriller.

Review: This movie is one of my 2001 favorite movies. Yes, I admit it starts slow, but if you follow it long enough and are patient, the slow part is what creates the entire movie. This is a one-of-a-kind see movie only that should not be missed!

Review: This movie surprised me! It had all the elements of terror that it needed and on the side of that, it was the funniest movie of the year. This movie screams for a sequel, and I hope it gets one, because this movie had excellent reviews and worth of mouth. See this movie if you are a thriller lover or comedy lover. Summary: Awesome Movie.
Review: I saw the trailer for Joy Ride, and I decided it looked cool, at least enough to see. It was, however, much more entertaining than I thought - I throughly enjoyed it.One thing that really adds to the movie that you aren't expecting going in is that it is actually a very funny movie, one of the funniest movie I saw last year. The suspense and action scenes are very good, and the bad guy's voice is the creepiest I've heard in awhile. This is a great movie with an awesome finish that I highly reccomend to anyone.

Summary: It goes round and round and round
Review: Joy Ride represents the metaphorivcal zenith with a thriller should deliver on a regular basis. Instead of providing the audience with overabundant gore and exceedingly outrageous cleavage and nudity, why not just tell a comprehensively sound story that amuses with ingenuity rather than excess. Charged with indulgently clever shrewdness storytelling that as of late continue to be ignored by a majority of the Hollywood establishment. Deliriously recommended to anyone who really enjoys a tearfully intense movie and even those who don't. Footnote: Ted Levine also played the unforgettable Jamie Gume in Jonathan Damme's The Silence Of The Lambs.
