Summary: just plain bad
Review: I could not believe how nauseatingly bad this movie was! And I am 17 years old! Not even the special effects or deafning soundtrack could save this worthless film. The movie was so utterly stupid that it became annoying. It had a predictable (if not flat out implausible) story, sterotypical characters that were one dimensional, bogus science, and it wandered way too much from the so-called plot too often. It was an assult on the senses thats for sure. In addition, the film was like a 2 1/2 hour music video with that dizzying editing. Also, the incident where he hits the broken computer with a wrench and it worked is unexcusable. This disc isnt even worth the exaggerated DD 5.1 soundtrack. Has anybody noticed the pun where the dog attacks the Godzilla doll? The movie was brainless, thoughtless, unemotional, drawn out, and absurdly overhyped. I was laughing when I shouldn't have been. If you are looking for a good movie, stay clear. Even I enjoy a good blockbuster, but this is simply disgusting. If only an asteroid would save me from another movie like this...

Summary: Gung-Ho tripe at its worst
Review: While this film has some great special effects, the plot, storyline, acting and overall sickeningly syrupy "all American" feel left me reaching for the barf bag. The renegade, outlaw redneck who makes good and becomes a hero has been done to death in recent years in Hollywood, and is well past it's sell by date.I've come to expect this sort of Gung-ho idiotic story lately but this one really made me regret watching it. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting war and peace or anything so grand, but I was expecting something a bit less 2d and superficial than this. Deep impact was pretty awful, but it was a masterwork compared to this. I'll be glad when the US gets past this theme of "the lowly guy in the street can be a super hero too". It's unrealistic and annoying. I like eyecandy, but this was just sickening!

Review: WOW this Movie had it all. From Meteor`s destroying NYC to comedy to drama to eye poping special effects. It was great. This movie will have everyone on the edge of your seat but remember this movie also has some sad parts so people make sure that the tissues are available.

Review: Forget what the critics have to say about Armageddon because they are dead wrong. Armageddon is a great movie with an outstanding storyline and special effects that will blow you away (literally). Truly, another masterpiece from the guys who brought us other great action titles like The Rock and Con Air. It's funny, exciting, and even touching at moments, but overall, this picture is a must see for anyone who loves action. A definite "Must Own" for anybody's video library.

Summary: great blend of patriotism, plot, and dynamite characters
Review: This movie had everything in it - a great plot, ungorgettable characters and pride of country. It was easily the best picture of the year. Unlike other disaster movies of the year, it left you with hope and the belief that the human spirit can conquer the seemingly unconquerable. I wish a sequel could be made, with the twin brother of Harry coming to life. In this day of discouraging movies that paint a fatalistic picture of mankind and survival, I would like to see more movies that build on the patriotic spirit in most of us that is waiting to be freed.

Review: Bruce Willis stars in this absolutley brilliant movie backed up by an all-star cast including Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler, Billy Bob Thorton, Steve Buscemi and Will Patton. Not only is this a suspense movie all the way but you will laugh your head off too. I loved this movie because it takes a bunch of nobodys, a bunch of regular joe's and has Nasa asks them to save the world. This is such a wonderful movie and I recommend everyone to buy this movie.You will wanna watch this movie 1000 times.

Review: Armageddon was the most amazing thrill ride I was on all summer and it was cheaper than Six Flags. Sure, it's a formula popcorn flick, so don't expect any profound performances but with an incredible score and visually stunning eye-candy (Liv Tyler) you'll be in for quite a treat. Oh, and the special effects are alright too.
