Summary: A good review for a change
Review: I have read reviews about Seagal and his movies and I don't see anything good mentioned. His movies never claimed to be "high art" or have a lot a lot of special effects. You get plain, solid action. I really like Belly of the Beast. Steven was very good.In the belly of the beast he is unrelenting in getting his daughter back. Review of his movies talk about Seagal's bad acting and that is not the case in this movie. The girl who is his daughter might be guilty of bad acting but not Seagal. Judging but his reviews everyone thinks he sucks. If he does why do you keep going back and watching the movies? I say if you can't write a decent, fair review of Seagal and his movies then just dont' bother to rent or buy them. As for me I really like them and I hope he contines to make more even if they are "straight to dvd".

Review: I just took chance of buying this movie on DVD "Belly of the Beast" but I was surprise it's a excellent movie, with lots of martial action, showing Seagal capabilities. When you combine the talents of Seagal and the directing of Siu-Tung Ching you will know it going to be EXPLOSION!!! Nothing that can stop them from bringing you a great movie. The action is just AWESOME!!! If you like the movie "Romeo must Die". This movie is up there!!! The plot and martial art action was very well done. I would have no regrets buying it!!! This movie is going to be my top 10. I do have 832 DVD MOVIES in my collections. JUST GET IT!!!!

Summary: BELLY OF SEAGAL???
Review: I kinda liked this movie despite the fact Lord Steven stil looks fat. He hides it well in this flick which has great action and a storyline to boot. What has happened is... Seagal has retired from the C.I.A. Later his young daughter is kidnaped while running around with her best friend who's father is high up in our goverment. Both girls are treated badly by the Yung kuo tribe. Seagal goes out on his own(big suprise huh?) to rescue them. And like he says to the police "if your not on my side your in my way" There is several good martial art fights in the movie with good effets in each. Seagal leaves a staggering body count as his hell-bent mission goes deep into the soo-won cain dynasty. Later he fights the cann u sing clan and the moh sgr gee clan and no trouble at all with the win do kin clans.

Review: I really enjoyed this one. After a couple of less than stellar flicks it's nice to see Seagal in a quality action movie again. Plenty of entertaining fights in this one and some supernatural elements too. Belly Of The Beast is right on target and a great deal of fun.

Review: I was hoping to get my copy of "Belly of the Beast"on december 31 and hell yes it did, my hope was good for this Master Aikido MR Steven Seagal.Once i put the film on ....Oh my GOD!! The fights are so unbelieveble, my opinion, they will blow away the fights in The Matrix Films. Its so different, like u see the fighting secene of the first Matrix for the first time AGAIN!
This is best Seagal movie yet(my hope for Under Siege 3 are very high) I think MR.Seagal is climbing, he will left his other movie stars far behind him, like he said it himself," Anyone who stands in my way, its gonna be them or me"

Summary: Older and wiser Seagal shows he's still got it
Review: I was pleasantly surprised to find this latest movie as truly strong with both a good storyline and martial arts scenes. His previous recent efforts such as The Foreigner and Out For A Kill were a bit weak. This movie re-shows off why he's a 7th Degree Aikido Black Belt. I rate this right up there with Under Siege (and 2), Hard To Kill, Exit Wounds and Glimmer Man. If he'd drop a few pounds, maybe the U.S. studios would fully budget his next few movies. He's still got the stuff.

Review: I was starting to lose faith in Seagals movies after the last couple, but he came pretty strong here! He lost some weight and looked pretty good. Hot asian women in this one too! =) I must say this is the best effort from him in a LONG time. Worth a rental and maybe a buy.

Review: I was'nt expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. Good action scenes and a slam-bang ending combined with the mystical theme makes this movie one of the best Seagal pics since Above The Law.

Summary: Better but still to many fighting effects
Review: I will admit that this is better than his previous Bomb's,but it still lacks the natural luster his movies used to have.All the fights in his first 5 or so movies were totally coriagraphed by Steven himself.His talent,his moves his way.Now it seems that its all been taken over by stunt doubles who do spin kicks,flying sumersault kicks,among others.Stevens style is Judo mixed with Aikido a technic made up of mostly blocks,body punches,clothes lines,and body flips.All his new stuff is lacking these brilliant moves he's famous for.The script was written a little better and the directing was decent,but still is to high tech and has to many slow down,jumbled,special effects fighting,which leaves the watchers eyes going all over the place to were it looks like one big mess.Also lets quit dogging steven on his weight,he's 52 for god sakes.Everyone says that but if they were to go against him face to face they would be like uhh i think not.Also the overdubbed voices in this movie were why he sounded different in certain scene's,why was this done?Who knows.Watch during the scene with his old buddy at the Buddist temple you'll see it.So this is better but still no Hard to kill,Marked for Death....etc.But a 3 stars for a better effort.
