Summary: THE BEST BATMAN EVER!
Review: This is truley the best Batman movie ever. Michael Keaton was good as Batman, but Val Kilmer is much better. Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones were magnificent as the Riddler and Two-Face.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: The worst of the series is still okay
Review: Schumacher threw a twist on the Batman series, unfortunately it turned out to be (in my opinion) a mistake. The Dark Knight was replaced by a more fun loving Batman (thumbs down to this move .... if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!!!!). Once again (as in 'Returns') two villians terrorize our favorite hero's city, unfortunately (as in 'Returns') two are TOO many. Jim Carrey does a great job playing a very poorly written Riddler role, and why is Two-Face (more like Joker's brother) even in this ..... he adds nothing (and he's more like One-Face .... always evil and never good). However (the far over due) introduction of Robin into the movie series isn't bad at all, and Chris O'Donnell does a fair job as the Boywonder. Kilmer also does a fair job as Batman, but compared to Keaton, he comes up short (the poor script has a lot to do with this). Although this movie is worst installment of the four Batman movies, it still is an enjoyable movie to watch, and the last shot in the movie maybe my favorite shot from all the movies.

Summary: Falls short
Review: This film is somewhat lighter than the first two films, and in some ways it works. We begin to see the campiness of the next sequel, the god-awful "Batman & Robin". Jim Carrey does a decent job portraying the Riddler, but what is up with Two-Face? Out of all the Bat-villians portrayed in films, Tommy Lee Jones does the worst job. He makes his character totally uninteresting. If you want to see Two-Face done right, watch the animated series.

Summary: The Best Batman Ever
Review: This one almost gives the comic justice, and if you didn't like it I hope I can try to change your minds. You might not like the color of it, but there is no way you can say that this script wasn't awsome. Developed characters and plot, clever storyline, and being fun. This is the best Batman ever made (well, look what it was up against) The glow in the dark gang was pretty lame, but that is what gives Gothem it's feel and enviroment. This film was well made and fun to watch.

Summary: What happened?
Review: I was awestruck by the first batman, and really enjoyed the second. The dark aura/quasi realism of the films, and the mystery of batman was what did it, as well as the fact that the villains had a personality. Then comes batman forever. Hey, let's have two villains instead of one, make everything comicbookish, and destroy all plot consistency.

Isn't twoface supposed to have two sides to his personality? This guy just seemed like any other lets-go-beat-everyone-up hoodlum with a screwed up face. I always pictured riddler as a mysterious puzzle master who seemed to nearly be pulling all the strings of reality itself. This riddler was just a goofball, more like the joker.

And then they decide to destroy the dark, mysterious batman suit and give him an almost robotic one instead. And how about the riddler's fortress that spontaneously came into existence ... maybe if he had had time to prepare it, but that kind of stuff shouldn't just be there the moment someone decides they want to be a villain.

At least it had some good action sequences that prevented the film from being a total waste. I hear Batman and Robin is even worse <shudder>. At least there are two good ones.

Summary: I cannot give it negative stars...
Review: well how to describe this waste of time and money... first let me say that im a french viewer so I never saw the english version of this movie, with is for me the worst film i've ever seen (with keanu reeves's speed)

what have I seen with batman forever - stupid action - story writed by a loony - characters with no background - no fun - gotham city's like a real las vegas avenue - insignificant bad boys in a small street - batman's madness cured by magical effects? - cheap music of supermarket - joker's like characters - nicole kidman as the sexjamesbondgirl - no respect of the batman's myth - stupid dialogues - batboy kilmer as the worst batman in the world - an other sucked film from joel s. - no surprise (if I exepected the quality of this movie)

please bring me back Tim burton and Keaton and punish all these vilains...

Id better like to see a batman movie by Ed wood than reviewing this subshit wasting of time & money

Summary: THE BAT IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER!
Review: This movie was the best batman movie ever. Val Kilmer proves that he will always remain to be the truly a DarkKnight. His performance was amazing. He blew me away. That should let him return as Batman in part 5. The other cast were good, but didn't show enough of the character to be them. Except Jim Carrey, Nicole Kidman, Chris O'Donnell, and the guy who played Alfred. Tommy Lee Jones was not Two-Face he was more like a street punk than a villain. They-Joel shouldhave used Mel Gibson as Harvey Dent. Mel would prove to be a much better twoface. The movie itself was excellent and awesome to look at. I love the batcave, the car, and the gadgets. Vals Bat suit was amazing I loved. It looked like a superhero costume. I loved the special effects and the music. it was the best ever. So buy it. if you are a fan of batman, watch this movie you'll be blown away.

Summary: This film's DA BOMB!
Review: This film rocks! I think this is the best Batman movie of all time, and I gave it four stars because some parts were too comic bookish (like those glow bat thugs.) I've seen the Batman from '89, but it's not nearly as good as this one. VAL KILMER IS BATMAN! But Micheal Keaton and George Clooney stunk as him. Keaton stunk because you can't have an old, fat, short and ugly batman. Clooney stunk just because he didn't look like a batman. But Kilmer is the best one, and I hope they bring him back for batman 5. The cast was well chosen, and it had great special effects. Step aside Zorro, here comes BATMAN!

Summary: Why do sequels end up going downhill?
Review: Batman, as played by a different actor, is now joined by Robin and meets enemies in the forms of the Riddler and Two-Face.

Though this film has some genuinely memorable moments and the moral message that revenge can leave the avenger no better off than before it's utterly sunk by its unmemorable villains who are at times more of a comedy double-act than a threat. The Riddler (played by Jim Carey who is playing him in the same fashion as the Mask and a thousand other characters he's played) is no more than a clown and is about as scary as Mickey Mouse. Two-Face is just 'a bloke in a funny suit'. Watchable, but nothing special. Certainly worlds ahead of the abominable trash that forms Part 4 of this series, however.

Summary: What a stupid Movie
Review: When this movie first came out I was excited to go see it. Then I saw it and I was mad. The movie wasn't anything like the first two. I didn't like Val Kilmer as Batman either. I think the movie could have been good if Tim Burton directed it and if Michael Keton was Batman again. But there weren't and the movie was stupid. Don't buy this movie because it's a waste of money.
