Summary: One of my ALL-TIME favorites
Review: Eddie Murphy is tremendous. He doesn't over act or try to over do anything basically. He is simply amazing in this movie. His plays his well developed character perfectly and does not disappoint. This is one of my favorite, if to the best comedy ever made. The direction and production are both superb. 'Cop' will keep you laughing throughout. On of the GREATEST movies ever. A solid, flawless movie.

Review: Man this movie is a classic, it is funny and entertaining the whole way through. I really miss those 80's movies where they played all the popular music and had silly situations all the way through. This movie can be watched over and over and over. Trust me, you'll be quoting Axel for days, and don't get me started on his silly laugh! Don't forget to slow motion the scene where Axel fights someone and they put a stunt double in, its totally obvious that it was LESTER from 227!!! hahaahahaha! have fun.

Summary: 1 of the greatest movies of all time
Review: I was watching vh1, and I saw this movie on movies that rock. It's just unbilievable. It's funny, and interesting. And it doesn't end with love. It's this black man who has a friend, and in detroit his friend gets killed. He's a cop, so he goes to beverly hills to figure out who killed his friend. He gets arrested a lot of times. but he's very optimistic, so he's seems like he doesn't care. I don't wanna tell the whole movie. Just watch vh1, and you'll see it. It airs pretty often, or if you want, buy the dvd.

Summary: The Best Eddie Murphy Ever
Review: I love this movie it is a classic movie with all the elements correctly repressented. This has Bronson Pincho and Eddie Murphy doing the best job they could and it looks great I just love the scene in the art gallery, and the police car, and the hotel, and well I could go on forever. Anyway the story is that Axel Foley's (Eddie Murphy) friend gets out of jail and comes to visit him when they go back to his apartment Axel's friend is killed so Axel goes to Beverly Hills to find out what had happened and if he had been assasinated. And I'm not gonna lie to you while their there is some wise cracking. I would recommend this to anyone over the age of 12 who loves to laugh and can understand human humor. I hope that this review has helped you.

Summary: Eddie Murphy at his best.
Review: A maker of VHSs and DVDs should make an Eddie Murphy collection. This is Murphy's second big movie (apart from 48 HRS.)and it's a good mix of action and comedy. This is not what you'd call your usual crime drama though, with an execcsive amount of saying f*** and sh** (among other R rated words and content). But if you don't mind alot of corse language and exclipt content (watching strippers w/o a top on and some private talk)this is a movie for you. This is one f***in' good movie!

Summary: Great Movie - Decent DVD
Review: I forgot how, with just a couple of scenes, Bronson Pinchot stole this movie. Eddie is Eddie, but Bronson had me rolling. Outstanding movie and a nostalgic romp through the 80s. How could you not chuckle along with Axel when he walked past the Michael Jackson wannabes??? Great soundtrack too.I would love to see this DVD with a remastered picture and better sound. I found the channeling of the sound to be very uneven with the soundtrack and assorted background noise playing with a higher level from one side of the room or the other. It was rarely even. It didn't spoil my enjoyment of the movie by any stretch, but it was definitely noticeable.

This movis is one of Eddie Murphy's best, I think it goes like this: Beverly Hills Cop, Trading Places, 48HRS, in that order. One of his famous lines is "Trust Me".

Summary: Who killed Micky?
Review: Coming 2 years after EM's 48 hours movie, he strikes gold with this, arguably his most entertaining movie, until I Spy. The Juxtiposition of EM's detective position in Detroit vs. that of the detectives in Beverly Hills is the hook here. But the street smart Murphy solves the crimes and is what makes this movie a hit. This is one of the only movie with cursing that i have ever given this hi a rating.
