Summary: A very well crafted and put together movie.
Review: From start to finish, the film had a genuine kick ass feel to it. Conery, Cage, and Harris gave excellent performaces. Harris a little short of an oscar in my opinion. I hold the musical score in high reguard as well. It certainly added to the movie's feel and gave it depth. To tell the truth though, Im not too quick to give something the highest rating just because I liked it. This film isn't a masterpiece but, I can tell they're doing something right.

Review: this is a movie that just draws you in so close to the action. the only problem is you get so into it its over before you know it! sean connery has the coolest voice of all time. ("womack!...why am i not surprised, you piece of $hit!") i love that line! nicolas cage rocks way much, and ed harris is da bomb bad dude! (finally a cool, honorable bad guy!) the coolest part in the movie is the ferarri chase! or the part where nick cage sticks that green ball in that dude's mouth and then punched him in the face and made the ball broke!!! this is by far the best movie of 1996! you gotta buy this. you will NEVER get tired of it. its just impossible. :)~

Review: I just finished watching the Rock and it is a high octane thriller. Cage, Connery and even Harris have phenomenol acting in this movie. If you are in the mood for a great action thrill ride this is the movie to see. The movie is about Nicholas Cage (a biochemist), Sean Connery (an Alcatraz escapee), and a group of Navy Seals trying to retake Alcatraz from some psycho marines. The marines are lead by Ed Harris who is trying to get money for the families of the people he lost on the black operations that he did all over the globe. A noble cause however not the right way to approach it. Finally, I think this is definetely a movie you should watch. .

Review: I couldn't print what winners do. Great plot ( terrorists, if I may be permitted to call them such, with a purpose other than personal wealth. ) It would have had the greatest death scene in movie history had Cage been allowed to die.

Review: The Rock is the best movie I've ever seen. Cage is not a FBI agent as we all know them from other movies - tall big guy with black shades and long coat. He loves his girl, can feel the pain and is sick of seeing a dead man. And Connery in the age of 66 - he's still No. 1 !!!

Review: Don't get me wrong, this classic action thriller is certainly a five star movie - but only if you buy it on VHS. As you can tell, I have a few bones with the DVD version of this film. The sound is incredible on DVD; everything in my house was shaking before I even took the volume knob near half-power. However, the picture itself only occupies the middle two-quarters of the screen, and the widescreen mode only left a disappointing little box in the center of any TV I tried it on (which included 34, 20, 55, and 60 inch televisions, all of which were widescreen compatible). Unless you're looking to bring your house down, buy this awesome movie on VHS so at least the picture takes up the WHOLE screen and you get a full movie going experience.

Review: This movie is all action with a little bit of suggestive material. It has alot of action and some pretty gorey scenes. This is only for people who have a like for violence, it is not a classic. Sean Connery does a good job but the plot of the movie isn't that good.
