Review: I loved Spider-Man, a great movie. Director Sam Raimi makes an amazing movie filled with special effects, thrilling action sequences, yes some romance,great characters and much more. Tobey Maguire plays Peter Parker who soon becomes the hero: Spider-Man, who must face the evil villan the Green Goblin played by Willem Dafoe. Also Parker's main true desire, Mary Jane Watson, (MJ) played by gorgeous Kirsten Dunst. A true movie with heart and even morals. Spider-Man, a record braker at the box-office! See it Today! Summary: It was stupid!
Review: I didn't like this movie it was so corny! It had bad acting, bad special effects, and not a very good script. The stunts looked so fake. Not to mention an awful score. When I saw the trailer to this movie it looked pretty cool but when I saw the movie I didn't really like it. Tobey Maguire is the worst actor I have ever seen and he wasn't a good Spider-Man. It should have been Freddie Prinze, Jr. He would have been a good Spider-Man then Tobey. If you see this movie you will be wondering why you saw it so don't see it!

Review: I think this is the best superhero movie of all times.
It has all the elements of a fantastic movie period!
It has characterization. It has drama. It has action. It has adventure. It has a love story. It has a friendship story. It has a father/son story. It has heart. It has special effects. It makes you laugh. And yes, it makes you cry too. It makes you be in awe. It has everything I can ever want in a movie.
Of all the movies I've seen in the last 20 years, I think this movie is the best movie in any category.
This is truely a movie that I can watch 10 times a year on DVD!...

Summary: Truly Amazing......
Review: The Amazing Spider-man truly lives up to his name in this great comic adaptation. One of (if not) the best comic adaptation ever. The gift box dvd truly packs some great extras (per press release) like: a collectable drawing by the one of the famed Romitas (either John Sr or John Jr), a copy of Amazing Fantasy #15 (Spidey's first appearance in comics) and of course all the extra dvd features such as commentaries by Sam Raimi and Kirsten Dunst, TV spots, trailers, documentaries and a whole bunch more. The only down side was that Columbia did not include the pulled World Trade Center trailer. You can understand why, but it is still a disappointment none the less. Overall this dvd should be one of the best ever!!

Review: When I went with my friends to see Spider-Man, I thought it would be just another boring comic-book movie made for little kids. I was so wrong! This movie is great for kids, teens, and adults. Tobey Maguire (Spider-Man, Peter Parker) and Kirsten (Mary Jane) do a great job! The special effects are spectacular. This movie is wonderful- You'll find yourself glued to your seat!

Summary: Greatest Comic Film of All Time!
Review: We Spidey fans awaited this film for years. Finally on May 3rd, the film hit theaters and I was in my seat with my eyes wide open. This movie did not disappoint. "Spider-Man" is a well though out, well crafted action-adventure movie starring Tobey Maguire as the title character. He does a phenomenal job at portraying the timid Peter Parker. He greatly balances the emotional and heroic sides of the character. Kirsten Dunst is Mary Jane Watson in this film and it isn't just because of the red hair. Willem Dafoe's performance as Norman Osborn and the Green Goblin is as good, if not better, than Jack Nicholson's Joker in "Batman." Even the film's supporting cast is exceptionally strong with James Franco as Harry Osborn, Rose Mary Harris as Aunt May, Cliff Robertson as Uncle Ben, and J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson. The special effects are spectacular. The music and the score are also very good. The film has its hokey momements, but they're not what you'll remember about this film. Sam Raimi did what was thought impossible. He made a movie that did justice to Spider-Man.

Summary: Spiderman conquers the Comic Book movie world
Review: Spiderman, by any measure, stays more true to the original than any other attempt at bringing a comic book character to the big screen. It's not as campy and sappy as Superman or as lurid and pretentious as Batman. The special effects have been criticized, but unjustly in my view. They have the feel of a comic book, much like certain action sequences in THE other great comics-come-to-life movie--Spawn. Batman (the first one) is a distant third in this genre; while JOR-EL is turning in his Kryptonian grave until a new, updated movie is made about his super son.

Summary: Great Clean Family Movie
Review: I think this movie is just great! A lot of action and a great story line and what I just love about this movie is that there is no sex or foul langauage. Good for kids to see and great classic movie! I hope they come out with another movie! I can't wait to get this DVD, but the movie is just wonderful. Highly recommended not just for kids, but for adults as well. Movie explores how he became spiderman and his struggle to cope with one of his family members death. (Won't tell you as it will ruin who). It is also a romantic in a sense with the girl he thought he could never have but has always wanted and how that relationship goes. Again great movie!!!

Summary: Oh Yeah!!
Review: This movie was great. The best part about it? The emphasis was on the story, not the special effects. I have loved Spiderman since my youth and this was a great film adaptation. It didn't vary much off the real thing, something that annoyed me about the X-MEN movie. The biggest change, and I think something that improved Spiderman, was the idea of letting Peter have web that came out of himself just like a real spider. That has always been the most annoying thing about the comic. "Oops, I ran out of web." I can hardly wait until the DVD is released and until the next movie.
