Summary: A Mind Blowing Epic From Beginning To End
Review: It rates up there with the star wars trilogy and bladerunner... A must have for sci-fi fans.

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: "The Fifth Element" is a terrific science fiction movie. It had some great actors and actresses, it had great acting. Plus the outstanding costumes, sound effects and story. Bruce Willis did very good as Korben Dallas, and Milla Jovovich as Leeloo, the "Supreme Being." Chris Tucker is one hilarious character as Ruby Rhod, the traveling and famous DJ. Everyone who likes such entertainment should see this movie, in my opinion.

Summary: How a fashion designer would make a sci-fi film.
Review: It's pretty light on the science, but great on the fantastical fiction. If I had two descriptive words to describe the movie I would make it "Fun" and "Fruity". The colors of this DVD are vibrant and the sounds are powerful. Bruce Willis does a better than average turn as the tough talking, yet sensitive Ex-killer, turned taxi-driver.

Some scenes are off place, like the rockin diva and most of the scenes with Chris Tucker and why do all the guys on the pleasure ships act like studdering idiots? Anyway, these are pretty small complaints and this movie was different from the typical movies that came out that summer.

Summary: Why wasn't this movie a bigger hit??
Review: I for one was shocked when this movie did not enjoy a better reception from the critics or public. It was a tremendous delight in every way -- plot, effects, costumes, acting. In fact, I felt like I had been to another world when it was over -- the true mark of a fine sci-fi flick. As a comic book enthusiast, I especially enjoyed its plotting and cinematography -- just like watching a comic book unfold on the big screen. Excellent!

Summary: This movie was terrible!!!
Review: I'm sorry, but I thought this movie was unintelligible nonsense. The story made little sense, and the acting was mediocre at best. Willis was obviously remaking "Die Hard" in space, and expending little effort in the process. Gary Oldman's makeup/costume was so bizarre, it was distracting, but distracting from this movie is probably a blessing. There are a lot of good sci-fi flicks out there, don't waste your time or money on this one.

Review: a fantastic movie that everyone should experience

Summary: Complete Sci-fi satisfaction
Review: This movie is great. Some people thought that Chris Tuckers character was annoying. I thought it was very realistic (i.e. RuPaul, Prince) And the other characters were really fun too. It has action, comedy, and a little bit of romance all crammed into a science fiction movie.

Summary: FANTASTIC MOVIE
Review: I have watched some Luc Besson-movies and he is really a fascinating director: Subway, The Big Blue, Leon etc. The Fifth Element is a stunning piece of picture, fast, funny, fantastic, fabolous, frantic, a #1-movie for the new DVD-equipment, both sound and picture.

Review: ....and by the looks of it, it looks like those who love it terribley out number those who didn't. A great action/sci-fi movie.
