Review: ...but don't bother if you "really, really like Friends", this isn't a movie for the faint of heart, but on the other hand, it's a tender love story on a certain level...TWISTS, TURNS, CHANGES OF VENUE, SOME PRICELESS LINES-"YOU WANT ME TO SUCK HIS...?"ARQUETTE IS HOT-SLATER, AND REMEMBER, THIS IS ME TALKING, IS COOL, HOPPER'S FINAL SCENE WHERE HE TALKS ABOUT ANCESTRY, MOORS, IS REALLY WELL DONE-YOU KNOW HOW THREE GREAT SCENES MAKE A MOVIE? THIS MOVIE HAS THREE GREAT SCENES PER VENUE...QUIT WATCHING FRIENDS AND SEE IT

Summary: High Energy
Review: True Romance is one of Tony Scott's best films, along with Crimson Tide and The Last Boy Scout. The film screams with one of the greatest casts ever assembled. It's violent, it's profane (its not just a love story), but the film isn't as violent as everyone seems to think, unless I'm desensitized to violence. The film is just FUN!

Summary: a raw version of every man's (and woman's) dream love story
Review: From the moment we meet them at the Tony Chiba film festival until their idyllic walk on the beach with little 'Elvis' we're enthralled with one of the greatest love stories (and the greatest of the 80's) ever told. Hopper's performance is his best since "Blue Velvet" and his story to Chris Walken makes the movie. What an interaction between two superior actors. Not since Dustin Hoffman squares off with Sir Laurence Olivier in "Marathon Man" and R.P. McMurphy went nose-to-nose with Nurse Ratchett in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" have we seen such searing hatred. The lesson I learned was 'loyalty' before 'all'.

Summary: One of the best casts in the history of film
Review: In what other film EVER would we see brad pitt actually act, val kilmer impersonate elvis, Dennis Hopper as a GOOD guy, Gary Oldman as a black man/pimp(and not surprisingly pulls the sucker off!), and Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette in probably the best roles ever cast for each of the two...all in ONE movie?...Tarantino is a genius(although there are those of you out there who disagree whole-heartedly), and just proves it over and over again, proving that a basic stereotypical plot can become what we all least expect it...There aren't many videos out there on the shelves that even compare to this puppy...one of the greatest...

Summary: One great flick to watch over and over!
Review: True Romance is definitely my favorite movie. From writer Quentin Taratino and director Tony Scott comes this action packed film of two lovers on the run from the mob and the police because they accidentally embark on $500,000 worth of coke in which they wish to sell and "spend the rest of their life spending"

Summary: Violent, profane, and thoroughly enjoyable!
Review: When I first saw this film I didn't know Tarantino from tutti frutti. All I knew was that it absolutely knocked my socks off! A good story line, great dialog and a ballsy overall attitude made it almost mesmerising the first time through. Subsequent viewings have only strengthened my first impressions. Slater has never been better, Brad Pitt is a hoot, and the scene with Walken and Hopper is scary/moving/terrific. (Am I lying?) And that's not even taking into account all the other great performances in the film. Arquette, Gandolfini, Oldman, Penn, Rappaport, Pinchot. They were all outstanding. Hats off to Tony Scott for bringing it all together.

Summary: Who ISN"T in this movie?
Review: This is a tribute to when you're hot you're hot! Tarentino and Scott had them (some of the best talent on hollywood)lining up to act in this thrill ride and they ALL came through! The "last act of defiance," scene with Chris Walken and Dennis Hopper is one of the best of all time. And if you thought Brad Pitt was way out there in "Kalifornia or Monkies," you ain't nothin' yet! The movie shines because the fast-paced dialogue enables the viewer to sucessfully mix the real and sureal in the fantisy world of hollywood. Oh and one last thing. Don't be mislead by the title. Violence...yes pleanty. True Romance...well only that of the Tarentino-hollywood variety.

Summary: ''I like you Clarence. Always have, always will''.
Review: This film is one of the best action/thriller movies that I have seen in recent years. Clarence Woorly (Christian Slater) is one of the best characters to come out of a Tarantino screenplay to date. ''Do you want to see what Spiderman number one looks like?''

Clarence, a 'kung-fu' movie freak is one of the best parts about this film. But Patricia Arquette is also a great aspect of the film, shinning through as Alabama, the gorgeous call-girl that ''dumps her popcorn'' all over Christian Slater at the cinema during the Kung-Fu Movie sesh.

This film is jam packed with a super star cast like no other. Christopher Walken (the mafia representitive of Blue-loo boyal - ''Would you like a Chesterfield?''), Dennis Hopper as Clarence's ex-alcoholic, LA cop father. Also the film has cameo roles for stars like Brad Pitt, Samuel L Jackson, Val Kilmer,Sean Penn and Gary Oldman.

One of the best cameo-roles , and a self confessed favorite of the the actors, is that of Floyd the stoned, hippy character played by Brad Pitt. Pitt's character is excellent. When confronted by the mafia hitmen trailing Clarence , Alabama and their $5million in uncut coke, Floyd simply takes another hit of his 'teddy-bear' bong.

One of the most horrifying scenes is where Alabama is confronted by a mafiosa man in her hotel room. In this scene we see Alabama almost murdered. This scene is very violent but Patricia Arquettes sex appeal is evidently played on.

Lee Donowitz, the hot shot film producer, famous for one of Clarences favorite movies ' Coming Home In A Body Bag' is also a great character.

This is one of the best films that I have seen in a long time and I think that Tony Scott has shown us that he can do work just as good as brother Ridley. ''I think what you did was,so,so romantic''
