Summary: Different and entertaining!
Review: This movie was not what I expected at all - an attractive US Marshal falling for a bank robber sounded like some tacky romantic 'comedy'. But it was far from it! George Clooney's character is strong. He busts out of prison and uses Karen Sisco(Jennifer Lopez - what a babe) as a cover up for future escapades in Detroit with other members of his criminal fraternity. And this is while she's trying to hunt him down. Great chemistry on screen between Lopez and Clooney -I agree with all the other comments about the trunk scene, witty dialogue and snappy storyline help to pull it along nicely. And Jennifer Lopez looks gorgeous as ever! Don't miss it.

Summary: Very slick
Review: This is a very good film - the only desrcibing word I could think of was "slick." It has a cool visual style, reminiscent of Jackie Brown in a lot of ways. It is well written and directed. The dialogue is witty and usually quite well-delivered by the likes of George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez, who is surprisingly pretty good in this. Albert Brooks is good, and so is Ving Rhames (as always). Plus, Micheal Keaton and Samuel L. Jackson appear unbilled. A very good movie.

Summary: How could you not love this film?
Review: Out of Sight is indeed a great film. Clooney proves that he is the man, and Lopez is good as well. Don Cheadle is hilarious and Ving Rhames adds credible support. The script is one of the best of the late 90's. The direction is dead on style and reminds me of 70's crime dramas. Those who thought it was boring probably lost the plot halfway through. If you liked Pulp Fiction of Jackie Brown, you will love this!

Summary: The movie lacks something...
Review: The cast is attractive. The leads have chemistry. The trunk scene is hot. I usually like this type of movies. However, there is something missing. Perhaps no main character was in any particular danger. There appears to be very little at stake. This is a clever movie, enjoyable but not a required viewing for movie buffs.

Summary: Cool as Sinatra
Review: Out of Sight, wow. What a movie, it literally blew me away. Steven Soderbergh is such a great director, if I were Elmore Leonard I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to handle it. And Scott Frank, what can I say? His writing speaks for itself, quite literally. George Clooney was as cool as the steel edge of a magnum .357. He could have put both Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin to shame with one quick glance. And by his side? The slinky, ever-sexy Jennifer Lopez. She melts the screen and everyone that stands or sits around her. Her character was Mickey Spillane's wet dream. Steve McQueen and Faye Dunnaway once turned a chess game into a steamy, erotic rendevous in the Thomas Crown Affair. Clooney and Lopez do a little bit of history repeating, this time in her trunk. One a bank robber who has just escaped from Glades Prison in Florida and is greased in mud and sweat. The other a U.S. Marshall packing a shotgun and a .38 snuggly planted on her thigh. The combination of the two is explosive. This film is a must see. What more is there to say, it's the next best thing to perfection. Watch it and love it! Just don't get burned by the fireworks!

Summary: Jennifer Lopez is a sensation!
Review: So, all you guys out there who think that this movie launched the lovely Lopez's carrer - your wrong! She played a gal in Anaconda, too. But here she plays Karen Sisco is determined to get robber, Jack Foley (George Clooney) for what he's done. But weirdly, in the boot of a car, she can't decide weither she wants to bag him, boot him or bed him! A cool unpredicatble movie with plot twists to keep you on the edge of your seat!

Summary: Great quality DVD with wonderful audio commentary
Review: The movie is wonderful, the picture and sound quality excellent, and the commentary by the writer and director make one's appreciation for the film all the deeper. A classy addition to my sci-fi and action-dominated DVD collection.

Summary: Nancy Allen, Steve Zahn, Ving Rhames shine in "Sight"
Review: Sure Steven Sondenburg, who followed Out of Sight up with the even darker The Limey, did an exquisite job of directing and envisioning this film. And yes Clooney and Lopez are amazing in the leads. But the real treat of Out of Sight is it's inspired supporting cast.

Dennis Farina as Lopez's dad is amazing and against type (He gives his daughter a gun for a gift). Steve Zahn is laugh-out-loud brilliant as Cloony's stoned accomplice (his sunglasses annoy the cast). Nancy Allen is inspired as Midge (she listens to Shubert), the hostage that Cloony goes back to save and eventually back to jail for. Finally, Ving Rhames is again great in his typical The Rock/Striptease/ Pulp Fiction role.

Yes out of sight is Out Of Sight. The only thing better would be a sequel focusing solely on Zahn, Farina, Rhames, Allen and other great supporters like Albert Brooks and Catherine Keener.

Summary: Jennifer Lopez should have won an award for this one...
Review: Jennifer Lopez is a HOTTIE! Oh, by the way, her ACTING should not have won an award, but her body...it's so great :) It's a very interesting movie which is part of an unofficial trilogy (Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Out of Sight). George Clooney ain't that bad and the film was very straight-forward on it's point. Ving Rhames is a great actor and should star in a whole lot more movies. Not a bad deal for the price it's asking for! :)
