Summary: Clooney tries on the Pulp Fiction persona.
Review: This is a 'little' movie, missing the special effect set pieces and explosions of the usual 'Saturday night thriller'. There are some similarities to Pulp Fiction (jumping the timeline for starters) but it's played to low-key perfection by an excellent cast. At last super-slick Clooney is in a role tailor made - the chemistry between ex-ER doc and Lopez is very genuine.

Audio and visual reproduction are superb, and special mention must be made of the wickedly hip soundtrack. Bonus materials are very worthy additions and make this thoughtful movie a definite collector's piece. The outtake of Clooney and Lopez in the boot (that's trunk to my American friends) is mesmerising.

So go ahead...add some class to your DVD collection that's most likely busting at the seems with asteroids and action men!!

Summary: Finally! A great movie for George!
Review: I have been a fan of George Clooney since he was on "The Facts of Life". He was fantastic in this film, as were all the players. The chemistry between Clooney and Lopez was great. Plus the friendship in the movie between Clooney and Ving Rhames seemed real as well. It's about time Mr. Clooney has finally found a film that he can really demonstrate his talent.

Summary: A very enjoyable movie.
Review: In my opinion, Out of Sight is the best Elmore Leonard movie ever made and it was one of 1998's best films. If you like this kind of movie, you should love Out of Sight. I love the flashbacks, the memorable characters, the comedy, and the movie's ability to make Jack Foley, remorseless bank robber, likeable. You end up getting mad at the police for trying to arrest him. Overall, the movie is fun and exciting, the story is good, and you get a few laughs. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Cool, Smart & Sexy.
Review: Bought this DVD from amazon recently after being spellbinded by the movie when I watched it on the big screen. George has never acted better or looked smarter, Jennifer Lopez was sizzaling with sex appeal (not to forget she's a good actress) and the chemistry between the two was just mindblowing. Beautifly written, invetively directed and a super cast, Out of Sight is a treat to watch, I've never seen a movie so easy on the eyes and so relaxing to watch. Don't miss it. (Great additional features on this collectors edition).

Summary: A GREAT flick
Review: THis is one hell of an entertaining movie!!! George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez work great together, and the cinematics are great. An unheralded part by Ving Rhames really addes to the over all essance of the film. The camera work will astound you, and the acting is a lot better than ER ever was. Deffinitely a keeper and one of my all time favorites!!!

Summary: Had its moments...
Review: I felt it tried to be "Pulp Fiction," but it didn't quite live up to that trademark quirkiness that Tarantino brings. I normally go for anything with Jennifer Lopez in it, but this movie kind of dragged in places. The book is DEFINITELY better. I suggest reading the book while occasionally staring at a picture or two of Jennifer Lopez...the imagination can definitely come up with something better. I liked the soundtrack, though.

Summary: Decent movie, great disc
Review: Out of sight is a pretty lackluster performance by both Clooney and Lopez. The movie is almost rescued by Don Cheadle's ruthless ex-con character and Steve Zahn's inept small-time crook. The good news is that the disc does not add any imperfections to the mix. Sound is excellent, including lots of bass-laden music which sounded great on my surround system. The video is also top-notch. Not a bad package, but if you're a Clooney fan I'd check out Peacemaker first.

Summary: 5 Stars of Damn Sexy Celluloid
Review: I agree with all the raves published previously however I think I noticed only one mention of the soundtrack.

This was the work of Belfast based (I believe) ex(?)-DJ David Holmes and, whilst many of the highlights come from his use of classic tunes of yesteryear (eg Dean Martin's "Ain't That A Kick In the Head" and The Isley Bros. "It's Your Thing") the vibe fo the incidental music is very much a souped-up Booker T & The MG's for the new millen.

If you liked the OST to this film, check out Holmes's album "Let's Get Killed".

Buy the soundtack - at least it's not Ninety Bucks (which when you convert it to Australian Dollars becomes one helluva kick in the head!)

Summary: George Clooney is the best actor
Review: I'm a big George Clooney-Fan. So I'm must seeing this film. I like it very much.

Summary: Slow, but well worth the wait.
Review: George Clooney (paging Dr. Ross) plays a bank robber of the twentieth century, escaping from jail and winding up in an attractive cop's path. Albert Brooks has a memorable bit as an aging con, you simply have to see him bald to get the full effect of the hilarity. The movie has plenty of action (when it gets going) but doesn't sacrifice any story elements or turn into a sleazy "clean" porno as many other "action" movies do. (Contrary to the high-light of the movie trailers you have likely seen of this film.) Funny, smart, well-made action movie will take a bit to sit through, being over two hours long, and near the end it does get a little been-there-done-that, but "Out of Sight" is an excellent movie that will require at least one active brain cell to watch.
