Summary: An Absolute Blast
Review: This movie, produced by Motown's Barry Gordy, is an absolute blast! The hero, Bruce Leroy Green (Tiamak) idealizes Bruce Lee. He teaches martial arts as well as being a student of the arts, trying to recah the final level.

The villians, campy, yet convincing, are Mr. Arkiadian anbd Show Nuff. One wants Green out of the way to strong arm Vanity to play music videos of his girlfriend. The other, Mr. Nuff, wants to prove he is the "Badest" fighter in Harlem. This movie is pure fun. It never takes itself seriously and thanks to the producers, the film quality is number one.

A must see for all martial arts fan and others can enjoy this movie as well. It has wide appeal.

Summary: It's About time!
Review: One of the best movies to come out of the 80 rock era. And at such a great time. I know my VHS copy from HBO has about had it and im not willing to spend $80.00 + to get a copy off e-bay. So thanks for brining it back into print, it's about time!

Summary: Whatever you say Mr. 'Nuff....
Review: This is perhaps the greatest american kung fu movie EVER made!! It is a combination of motown music, harlem and some really well directed fight scenes. I have a celebratory viewing of it every week! I had despaired that I would wear out my copy and it would never be re-released. Thankfully, those of us who are cult followers of the "chocolate-covered yellow peril" can now rest at ease! Can you say "NO PICTURE DEGRADATION" on DVDs!! Let me just end by saying "It's skinny little lizards like you, and mumbo jumbo like THAT, that gives kung fu a bad name!"

Summary: An Urban Take on the Japanese Flick Format
Review: I was exposed to many different films and music. I don't really remember when I saw The Last Dragon, but I know that once I saw it, I immediately loved it. It was a shame that I couldn't find anyone who had the movie in their possession besides my stepdad until I got to college. When I borrowed it from my friend and showed it to my roommate, who had never even heard of this movie, all of the identity I had with it started rushing back to me. I felt like a kid again! This movie is the epitome of the 1980s and it's exactly like those old Japanese movies we used to watch on Saturday afternoons right after Soul Train went off! It's got great 80s music, a positive message of finding peace & self-confidence within, a normal good versus evil plot, a villain with the greatest hairdo (who is also "the biggest, baddest mofo in this town") comedy, and Vanity! What else could you ask for?

Summary: Who's the Master? I am!!!
Review: This was an unbelievable movie. I watched this movie at least 100 times when I was younger and studying GoJu. I just knew I would get "The Glow." This movie inspired me to practice harder and harder. I am so glad that the studios decided to release it. I may have to order three copies to make sure they last for my children to see. A great choice. Sho nuff!

Summary: Fun & Campy Martial Arts Flick from the 80s
Review: I was only yeah high when I first saw this movie, but I remember it having a big impact on me. The storyline follows young Leroy, a martial arts student, as he searches for the master. He wishes to further his knowledge in the arts. However, he is bullied by the local gang leader, Sho Nuff, who challenges Leroy to a fight. Leroy refuses for he tries to be a positive role model for his fellow students and his little brother. However, when a major singer, played by then Prince protegee, Vanity, finds herself in danger, it is up to Leroy to help save her. The movie has some really hilarious moments and also is just an all around fun movie to watch. Revisiting it now after many years would prove to be interesting esp. as one sees some influences or references in some of today's favorites. Fans of martial arts, hip hop, or 80s campy films will definitely love this one.

Summary: Am i the prettiest?
Review: This movie has touched me in places few movies have. The deep love between Vanity(Laura Charles) and Taimak(Leroy Green), The passion of Sho'Nuff the shogun of harlem, and the humor or Leroy's little brother. This movie can't be described as a comedy or as a action film, because it truly is everything. it is the beginning and the end of american cinema. You must buy this DVD.
