Summary: X-Files Is X-Files
Review: What can we say ? X-Files is X-Files ! The movie builds on the series, Conspiracy & Aliens ! The special Effects is Great ! It's in Widescreen, but the convertion from Cinema format to Widescreen TV format doesn't seem to be sucsesful ! The picture isn't like it shoud be. On my tv anyway !

X-Files fans Buy, you others rent it !

Summary: Fox Home Entertainment & DVD problems with Some computers
Review: I am not able to play this DVD on my system. After believing I had purchased a defective DVD, I returned it and Amazon swiftly sent me a new one. But to no avail. I am able to play other company's DVD's such as Warner Bros. and Universal with no problems. I have an 11 month old Toshiba DVD connected to my computer and have spoken to Gateway many times but have been told I need to take this problem up with FOX. If you have this DVD and have problems, email foxdrop@4icc.com and complain.

Summary: Where is Grotesque?
Review: I always thought that the ISU would make a great story someday. And here it is. Kurtwood Smith is wonderfully creepy and interesting at turns as Mulder's former mentor,Bill Patterson. Sarcastic at turns and maybe a little vunerable, He makes you want to watch as he and Mulder chase after a killer who mulitates his victims and then hides them in sculptures(ugh)

Summary: Dual-Layer
Review: first of all, this is a dual layer disc.. you seethe transition about 40 minutes into the disc, after Mulder talks tothe cops in Kurtweil's apt. It doesn't say that up there... anyhow.. I liked the movie a lot so I can stand to watch it a lot. It's got a good digitally mixed soundtrack with, and I found the picture quality and transfer to be great throughout... just wish it were dual sided so you could have a 4X3 format along with the 2.35:1 ratio. The audio commentary is revealing, and I enjoy watching this film. It rocks in 5.1 digital stereo, so for all those who don't have digital decorders, get one and lather in it!

Summary: NOT VERY COHERENT,BUT VERY ENTERTAINING AND SUSPENSEFUL
Review: THE PLOT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH ALIENS TAKING OVER THE EARTH OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. MAYBE IF YOU WATCH THIS FILM A FEW TIMES IT'LL BE MORE UNDERSTANDABLE.

Summary: Now that I have this in my posession I must review it again.
Review: This DVD rocks. I would like a few more features, but then again this is not New Line Cinema, Warner Brothers, or Criterion Collection. Fox has not been that big on having many features on their DVD's so far. I think they did a reasonable job. I like the making of the X-Files and the audio commentary. The 8 page booklet is awesome too! Did I forget to mention that you get a card too? I did! That is my 44th card (6 with each wave, the movie on VHS, and now the movie on DVD). If you know where else I can get a card please let me know... Well, the DVD has very nice sound (THX Digitally Mastered) and great picture. As I have said earlier they did mess up with Dallas. Dallas looks nothing like that. However, what truly matters is that they have an interesting storyline that satisfies all viewers, especially long term fans of the show. Fortunately, Chris Carter and the director Rob Bowman accomplished this feat. This truthfully is one of my favorite movies of all time. Up with Star Wars, The Silence of the Lambs, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and Antz.

Summary: Suspenseful, eye popping, joy ride of a movie
Review: I never watched the TV show before, but I wondered what all the hype was about, so I saw the movie. I was hooked! I watch the show all the time now. My favorite parts in the movie are the bee dome/cornfield scenes and the arctic escape scene. What an awesome movie!

Summary: Awesome
Review: DVD's contain so much more information about the movie! There is a voice over on one of the english tracks that explains scene by scene what the director had in mind. Totally Awesome!
