Summary: Good Movie,Just Too Long.
Review: Before you say you hate my review just listen to what I have to say.The movie was good but they could have taken at least twenty minutes off of it and it still would have been good. The movie was too long. But Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprise their roles as Mike and Marcus the two Miami cops back with their sometimes dumb antics and good jokes. This is a good movie due to the jokes some which are stupid and some which are hilarious.
But the movie is about Marcus and Mike trying to bust an ectasy ring when they find out that Marcus's sister and Mike's girlfriend Syd (Gabrielle Union) is undercover in the ring. The chase scenes that are in the movie are awesome and well done and all the while Smith & Lawrence are still cracking jokes. But the drug bustturns out to be much more than just drug transporting and turns out to be murder and everything else. The movie was alright but it begins to drag sometimes in the middle.C- for the movie and B- for the acting.Enjoy!!!

Summary: Great Action, Bad Story
Review: It may just be me, but when I watch this movie, it made me hate the cops in the movie and root for the bad guys. These so-called cops violated and broke more laws than the bad guys did! They abuse thier authority so much that it made me want to cause great harm to them. Also, I know that in this politicaly correct world, only white guys are supposed to be "racist", but in this movie, Martin Lawrance was the black version of the kkk. His hatred for white folks is very apparent in this movie. I give this one star because of too much racism and abuse of power.

Summary: Funny and entertaining action movie!!
Review: I don't agree with these other people who say the movie was crap. If they don't like action movies, they shouldn't have gone to see this one. Overall, Martin and Will created a great onscreen duo (once again) for the audience. The action along with the laughs were great! Several people that I know(including myself) have all gone out and paid the outrageous DVD cost since we love this movie so much. Although the film was almost two hours and thirty minutes long, it was well worth it. A MUST SEE if you like action with GREAT laughs!!!!

Summary: Action packed and hilarious
Review: Everything I look for in an action comedy. I think this movie is as good if not better than both the rush hours. This gonna sound korny, but it will elate your spirit on the crappiest of days. Impressed with the length of the film since the original one was a lot shorter and more dissapointing than this one. Worth spending money on so go and buy it...or I kill you...not really...

Summary: Noisy and unrealistic action but the movie is still funny
Review: Bad Boys 2 is a macho and brainless action/comedy and although there's things I don't like about it, I can't say I hated it. It still has some good laughs to it even if the action is cartoonish and not very realistic. I mean the car chases seem like a tornadoe is going by throwing cars at Will Smith and Martin Lawence as they chase the bad guys. Plus one part where Will Smith and Martin Lawence bully a 15 yr old kid that is gonna date Lawence's daughter is just mean. They're proud of themselves afterwards and it's just pathetic. That's the only scene that was supposed to be funny that I didn't like. Will Smith proved with Ali that he can act so I don't know why he even did this movie honestly. He should be getting better offers than this. I just hope he doesn't accept a script to Wild Wild West 2 next.

Anyway the movie is still funny mostly because of Martin Lawence though. Will Smith is in good action star form although I wish the script would let him actually shut-up. Smith and Lawence argue so much that it feels like there's 2 Chris Tucker's from the Rush Hour movies. If you can get through all their arguing and all the noise from the action, you still might get a good laugh though. Oh plus you have to be prepared for Martin Lawence and Will Smith singing the Bad Boys song from Cops because they both have lousy voices.....lol.

Summary: The Boys are Back..and They are Badder Than Ever.
Review: I really enjoyed Bad Boys 2, and thought it was a very entertaining film that offers great old fashioned stunts (which is refreshing to see after so much digital trickery in most action movies of late) and great laugh-out-loud comedy, each in equally well balanced dosages.
Michael Bay, has pulled this film with enough command and competence to make you forget Pearl Harbor ever happened (I am refering to the remade movie of course), while Will Smith and Martin Lawrence look perfectly at ease giving their best performances for some time.
Yet, what prevents me from giving the film full marks, is the last section of the film, the 'Cuba operation' which I thought was way over the top..To be entertained with brilliant action stunts is one thing, but to stretch the imagination to such unbelievable lenghts is something else altogether! Again the some old cliches that were the staple of most WWII movies, where very few brave soldiers manage to wipe whole Nazi batallions, do resurface in Bad Boys 2.
The boys with the help of some loyal, patriotic and brave harderned colleagues travel to the very heart of Cuba to save Lawrence's sister (a delightfully sexy Gabrielle Union)from a pscyho drug baron (an impressive Spaniard Jordi Molla), and manage somehow to escape from Castro's army after killing them by the truck load!!! It would have served the film much better, had the script been confined to the US shores!
Anyway, this does not diminish the excellent acting, and competent direction, as you will surely be enthralled from the start by what is a very good and entertaining movie.

Summary: WAY over-the-top. sir, may i have another explosion please!
Review: thank god i got this as an xmas gift from my nephew. i would of been pissed if i spent even a penny on this one. my brother stormed out of the room 30 minutes into the movie on xmas day. well, at least my nephew (his son) liked it! i hung in there for the entire show out of courtesy to my nephew. otherwise, i was right behind my brother. yeah i know...it's an action movie. what did you expect? i guess i am just getting too old for films that have these endless smash, bang, boom, pow, crash scenes. i won't even bother listing any details except to say................save your money.

Summary: LOUD...BAD...AND LOUDER
Review: The only thing as bad as bad comedy is bad action. Bad Boys II has plenty of both. In fact, those two things are all it has. Not only is it exceedingly long (the result of titanic self-indulgence and the inability of director Bay to cut anything), but each scene is worse than the one before, making the viewing experience akin to a plunge into the lowest depths of hell. Anyone who truly enjoys this movie may wish to consider seeking professional help - if they're not already beyond it.

The paper-thin storyline involves Miami PD partners Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) as they attempt to take down Cuban drug kingpin Johnny Tapia (Jordi Molla) on those rare occasions when they're not too busy bitching at each other. Johnny, with the help of a Russian mobster (Peter Stormare), is flooding the West Coast with Ecstasy. Along the way, the two "bad boys" encounter their share of trouble, including car chases, shootouts, and explosions. Mike tries to hide his blooming relationship with DEA officer Sydney Burnett (Gabrielle Union), Marcus' sister, from his partner. And Marcus avoids telling Mike that he wants a transfer.

The action sequences are worse than routine - they're boring. They all follow much the same pattern: explosions, gunfire, someone rolling on the ground in slow motion, the camera circling the action two or three times, rapid-fire cuts so fast that you don't know what the hell is happening, more explosions, more fast cuts, more slow motion, and so on...

It gets tiresome very fast and Martin Lawrence is one of the more annoying people to grace the big screen.

Bad movie. Avoid at all costs!

Summary: Amazingly, better on the small screen!!
Review: Who knew that watching the Bad Boys sequel on the small screen, or at least a smallER screen, would prove to be more satisfying than the movie theatre experience. I disliked BB2 on the big screen because it seemed full of sound and fury, signifying...well, you know. Not having one's eardrums blasted and senses overriden actually allows one to appreciate the car carrier scene much better for its amazing technical merits.

BB2 is not meant to be anything other than a visceral experience; on that level, it succeeds tremendously. It still, however, upon second viewing, fails to measure up to the charm of the original. The original was a quirky film, that, while a highly visceral experience as well, had enough human intrigue and interesting characters to make it the best Michael Bay film. The by-play between Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, so fresh the first time around, seems more re-hashed than innovative here.

Still, though, a fun 2.5 hours. Not recommended for the artsy set, however.
