Summary: waiting for the superbit edition instead
Review: This is truly a fantastic action/comedy movie. Smith & Lawrence work great together. I hope for more movies from them in the future. I hope they decide to make a Bad Boys 3 soon. The rat scene was hilarious!!
I am , however, gonna wait for the superbit version of this movie which takes the picture quality to new heights. Bad Boys I is already available on the superbit format in case you're interested. "We ride together, we die together" Bad Boys 2 is a new classic, highly recommended!!

Summary: best flick in recent years
Review: i got no idea what all the critics are thinking or why they even have a job. this movie got terrible reviews from the critics and why? too over the top? well for the first time in ages they made a tight action movie that was a hard R. most pg-13 movies are the same as R movies but without the blood. anyway this is a very entertaining action movie. a non stop thrill ride as all those washed-up critics put it. while definately not for the kids, if your in the mood for something that makes you all tense from the amazing action, then practiclly fallin out of your seat with laughter. i mean if you not grabbin yer seat, yer fallin out of it. great all around shooting scenes and the best, most intense car chases ever caught on film; plus hilarious jokes. you cant beat it. buy it if you like action films at all. also a must if you want to show off your home theatre setup. at least rent it if you like action, you wont regret it. it is rated R for- strong violence and action, pervasive language, and sexuality.

Summary: I Don't Care What Anyone Says...
Review: ...This is easily the best action movie in years. It isn't a work of art in the sense of story, characters, dialogue or anything remotely like that...But it has the best action sequences ever. Trust me. This film will not bore you one bit. If anything it might offend you (in a good way). This is the ultimate R-rated movie in years. Brings you back to what action felt like in the mid eighties: Glossy, cool, over the top and violent as hell. And most certainly not for kids. It even has some horror type gore thrown if for good measure. I will buy this the first day it is released on dvd. Enjoy!

Summary: Best movie I have seen in ages!
Review: Okay, Matrix Revolutions was great. But that was partly due to the fact that it was "part of the matrix trilogy".
BAD BOYS II however, is an awesome movie on it's own. The story is not the best, but the action packed scenes (and there is PLENTY of it) and Smith and Laurence's humor was just excellent.The shooting scenes were one of the coolest in a while, I am no expert on tactical equipment, but this movie looks to me like it was based on some thorough research.
The little things, like Will Smith's character wearing a Luminox watch during the SWAT bust scenes. The firearms displayed in this movie were very intersting too, such as the H&K UMP used by Smith and Laurence against the Haitian gangs on the street. This movie is also one of the few movies to make use of a real UH-60 (Blackhawk helicopter), in one of the scenes. Credits show thanks going out to the United States Coast Guard, who were probably the guys who contributed the real Blackhawk. I don't know what else to say, except that this was a high quality, fully entertaining movie. This is also great in Dolby Digital 5.1, since many of the shooting scenes make good use of the surround effects, with bullets whizzing past behind you etc.

Summary: About 2 hours too long.
Review: Bad Boys 2 had over the top special effects and great chase seens, unfortunately no one bothered to write a script that was even close to bearable. This movie was 2 hours and 15 minutes of jokes that were about as funny as Wild Wild West was good. For those of you who saw Wild Wild West, I feel your pain. Most of my friends and I couldn't stay awake for most of this awful movie and with false ending upon false ending we had our feet pointed at the exit. Buy this movie if you feel like wasting your money.

Summary: The best gun fight and car chasing movie of the year!
Review: It's quite a long action movie with a very standard story, two hot tempered guys chasing after a cuban ectasy dealer.....That doesnt matter. The gun fights, the car chasing scenes are so fantastic with much improved cinematography than the first episode, certainly attributed to a much higher budget and the pressure on the whole original team including the producer and the director with their current superstar status that could not allow them to disappoint. I am bold enough to say that the amount of "good stuff" can actually be spilt into two more average action films. More importantly, some scenes are quite "new" or "creative", such as dumping cars from a big truck along the highway ..... In short, a must rent and watch! If you got a good 5.1 AV system, it's a must buy.

Review: I really enjoyed this movie. It was the best 2 1/2 hours of my summer. If it ever comes back in theaters, I will see it again. Regardless where it is playing at.

Summary: A great popcorn flick
Review: Being such a fan of the first movie with its comic timing, excellent direction that Michael always brings (Though Pearl Harbor was crap) and a great score (yet is sounds suspiciously like Speed's Hmmmmmm) anyway...i was surprised to find that I loved the second one even more...and the freeway chase scene rivals The Matrix Reloaded (Yes I said it!!) I think everything was better because Will Smith had more time to work on his comic/action skills between these films, and Michael definetly knows how to play to HIS audience as does Jerry Bruckhiemer. And the camera work in this film was turned up to 11! the 360 degree shooting scene going from room to room through bullet shots! GENIOUS! I definetly can see this film spawning at least one more sequel and is the Letha Weapon of our generation....with lots more blood and a more hardcore style of comedy.
