Summary: Brilliant, Funny, a must see for all Evil Dead Fans
Review: What can I say. A great follow up to the Evil Dead films. Anyone who hasn't seen 1&2 would still benefit from seeing this. Raimi doing what Raimi does best. Would just like to know when he will get a break from the Hercules series and do another E.D. film.

Great Fun!

Summary: A FUN WAY TO PASS THE TIME
Review: I had fun watching this movie. But for those who love gore, you'll be disappointed. It was hilarious!

Summary: Better than the first two
Review: The movie was better than the first two Evil Dead movies, but the end was lacking. My recomendation:watch all but the last five minutes.

Summary: best movie in the evil dead series
Review: I'm only 16, and yet i have seen this movie at least ten times. Army of Darkness is the third in the "Evil Dead" series and i feel it is the best of them all. Bruce gives a stellar performance and his witty remarks are quotes that i will always remember. The effects are spectular and the images will engrave themselves into your mind. Put your kids to bed because this one rocks!

Summary: The BEST Evil Dead movie
Review: For those of you who feel like skipping the Evil Dead movies because you think they're too gory, then watch Army of Darkness. It has barely any gore except in the beginning and it's got more, action, adventure, humor, and better special effects than the first two movies. There's also a recap of what happened in the first two films so you won't feel like you missed a thing.

Despite the fact Army of Darkness has no plot, it only adds to how hilarious this film is. The only real reason this movie is so great is because of Bruce Campbell. He's the movie's spotlight. Campbell even rivals Jim Carrey in physical comedy! Definitely watch Army of Darkness if you want to laugh and have a good time.

Summary: One of the most creative movies of our time! A fun treat!
Review: This has always been one of my favorite movies of all time, since way back when it was out in theaters. The movie is, yes, corny. But the beauty of that is that it was intended to be in the first place! The movie is filled with perfect touches of cheapiness and campiness from the wild and crazy camera angles to the quick comically overdramatic quips of dialogue spoken by the lead character, Bruce Campbell as Ash; to the deliberately cheesy special effects in most scenes. All of this spells FUN! The movie came out in the summer of 1993 which is the same year that Jurassic Park also hit theaters. So the technology was there, the creators just chose not to use it. The result is a movie that sort of looks to spoof all of the cheap low budget horror movies of days past. It also proves a movie doesnt need fancy computer special effects to be highly entertaining. Other pluses of this movie: impressive war scenes and even better sword fighting; TONS of action and laughs (the movie never really slows down!); Great sound! Highly recommended for good Home Theater setups (especially ones with good bass!) and of course the fact that you don't need to see the 2 prequels in order enjoy this one. It is a truly excellent film and in it's own way. Every now and then we all just need to sit back and watch something fresh and different. I suggest you grab a few snacks and something to drink, and sit back and experience this delightfully campy timewaster. You'll quickly see that it is really time well spent! -DHX-

Summary: Best horror-comedy ever and the best Evil Dead movie
Review: Army of Darkness comes across as a mindless film with a very weak plot and that's what makes it so great. If you missed its predecessors I'll give you a short plot summary: Ash and friends go to a cabin in the woods of Tennessee when a strange force awakened by a book called the Necronomicon possesses them one by one. Ash must kill off his friends and stop the demonic forces. With the help of a stranger who translates missing pages from the book, the evil is banished but it also opens a vortex that su**s Ash back in time to the 14th century. Now, he must recover the original Necronomicon and find a way to get back home.

This movie is quite hilarious. This movie has a lot that the first two Evil dead movies lacked. There's even more action and adventure in Army of Darkness and the fact that it's very light on gore makes it all the more enjoyable. The best thing about this movie is Bruce Campbell, who plays Ash. In the first Evil Dead movie, his acting wasn't very convincing. It wasn't until Evil Dead 2 that we learn his great talent is physical comedy. Army of Darkness shows even more physical comedy with great one-liners. Campbell was definitely born to play Ash. If you want to have a good time, watch Army of Darkness.

Summary: A perfect ending of a perfect triology!
Review: Again horror master Sam Raimi deliver a perfect mix of horror, splatter and comedi. This time there is some more humor and takes place in the medevil time. Bruce Campbell is funnier than ever! and the special effeckts are truely amazing. Just look at the army of dead or when Ach gets sucked in to a book. We find Bridget Fonda in a miniroll and Ach gets a new hand(of steel). Army of Darkness is one of the best horror movies in the 90's and if you loved the first two you will love this one. Sam Raimi shows agian fine film making.

Summary: good for a bad movie
Review: If you're in the mood for a really bad movie with shoddy special effects and a predictable plot, this is the one to rent. Especially hilarious if you've ever seen the Hercules or Xena series, you'll recognize a couple of actors and many of the effects.

Summary: the greatest
Review: Bruce Campbell is, without a doubt, the greatest action hero in motion picture history. Hail to the king, baby!
