Summary: This is The recipe...
Review: There's the jive talkin' black guy whose an explosives expert;
there's the nerd who can't get laid but can hack the IRS;
there's the sexy dope who knows how to drive race cars;
there's the salty dog who teaches the kids the ropes;
there's the all-American good-lookin' dude;
there's the super sexy chick who had to one day decide, "Should I be a supermodel or a safecracker? I know! A safecracker!"
There's cutesy little mini-coopers, all hot-rodded up.
And then there's Ed Norton.

Summary: The BEST movie of the year so far
Review: I loved it for many reasons:

1. The acting was amazing, Seth Green was hilarious in this movie, Donald Sutherland was amazing in his short performance. Charlize Theron is amazingly hot, and makes an also fine performance. Mark Whalberg is okay as usual. Edward Norton is alright as the bad guy again, but they're better bad guys out there. The rest of the cast was absolutely stunning!

2. The plot was ok, but they made it alot better by adding twists, with the good guys stealing then the bad guys stealing from them, it made it interesting.

3. It wasn't too cheesy & not too much gore or swearing which action movies need to do more often now.

Overall, it makes a great, fun & entertaining night, TWO THUMBS UP!!

Summary: Michael Cane must have smiled
Review: What a great movie, an avid fan of the "British MIni" even before BMW stole the Mini. It was an easy viewing film that kept you smiling all the way through. The computer technology was just the best and left me thinking, that could be real!! The next time the lights go out here in New York I will think of the "Italian Job" It makes me want to go out and buy a Mini, with of course a Union Jack on the roof.Buy this film, you will love it.

Summary: Take this in your collection!
Review: A friend of mine kept pushing me to watch this film during summer. Regret that I didn't take his advice to see it on big widescreen. Finally, the stupid me wait till the DVD comes out for rental. Wow, what a great movie, good dialogs, good plot, especially the most classic famous mini coopers chasing scenes. Even though this is a remake from the one in 1969, still an excellent entertaining one! "I trust everyone, I just don't trust the devil inside them." If you don't have a clue of what I am talking about, you got no imagination. That's why you're always the number two!

Summary: It's A Movie
Review: Some reviewers take this stuff just too darn seriously. It was a good movie. Did it keep you interested? If yes, then you can walk away not feeling screwed out of a rental fee. If not, well, that's life. We enjoyed it, it was time well-spent together.

Summary: Not impressed
Review: Thought it would be more of a mafia type of movie, which I would have made it more interesting, however it's more about American crooks and I must say pretty boring too.

Summary: Sad excuse for a movie
Review: Norton made this film due to pressure from the studio to an existing contract. IT was his worst performance ever.

Walhberg is almost sleeping (as always).

The plot is a joke. Alright, the Mini-Coopers were a great advertising scheme, myself want to buy one right now...

Seth Green was the only actor to save himself in this turkey.

The bad guys (in this case, the good guys, because they steal a lot of things and get away with it!)use always the same plot: blow anything that is above our heads and the money / gold / whatever / will fall right at our side. Very clever.

If stupidity has a name, it's the remake of The Italian Job.

Summary: Sweet revenge
Review: Hollywood releases many heist movies but few carry it off like THE ITALIAN JOB. Opening with stunning views of Venice the audience is introduced to a group of unlawful crooks while pulling off the job of the lifetime: the theft of $35 million in gold bars. While driving through the Alps, Steve (Edward Norton) ambushes his comrades and takes the bounty for himself. The remainder of the movie involves his ex-comrades hunting him down and taking the gold back for himself. The catch scenes are full of action and adrenaline and the Mini Coopers are fun watch. It's a wonder how technology and clever minds united to separate Steve from his fortune. THE ITALIAN JOB is clearly a winner and shouldn't be missed. Also recommended in this genre is THE GOOD THIEF with Nick Nolte. Enjoy.

Summary: A Family Friendly Action Adventure Movie
Review: This was a cute movie. It was more family friendly than I expected. It was entertaining but some scenes seemed to drag on and the film got to a point where I was ready for it to be over. It is something that I would recommend to others. Charlize Theron is beautiful and innocent like in her role and Mark Wahlberg as always is right on time with his acting. The casting was perfect and Seth Green and Mos Def provided comic relief.
