Summary: Resume Maker Professional 11
Review: By using the "Resume Maker Professional 11" I was able to successfully obtain a Federal job that I don't think I could have otherwise obtained. All ten modules were extremely
informative and professional in helping me prepare a resume that adequately reflected my skills, talent and
expertise. Also, by using the "Salary Finder" I was able to negotiate a satisfactory salary. By keeping
all my records and information in this one file on the CD, the data is readily available whenever I need it.
I recommend the "Resume Maker" to anyone interested in improving their profession skills whether they are
looking for a change in employment or not.

Summary: Awesome!
Review: I am so glad I bought this software. I am a career changer, with years of diverse experience who has been suffering from "writer's block" in trying to organize my resume. Also, while I have advanced skills in Microsoft Word, face it Word is can be so flakey to work with.
I bought this software, and it only took me two days to write my resume. It also looks good and the formatting is nice and tight. What I love about this software is that with a click of a button, it formats my resume into a plain text document or Word document without any need for further fine tuning to the formatting. Something you cannot do with Word.
I never needed to read the manual. The software is intuitive. Anyone who says they find this software difficult to use is just a moron. Yes, as other reviewers have mentioned it doesn't cover every job description out there. But it is unrealistic to think it could. This software isn't going to write a resume for you, if that is what you want than hire a resume writer. But, this software does make the whole process easier and gives you a lot of direction and examples.
There are a lot of bells and whistles too. A salary finder, access to online job sites, a cover letter guide, and an interview prep tool. Each and everyone of these tools are useful, but of course I still have to do the thinking and the work. But, this software makes it soooooo much easier.
If you are stuck in writing your resume, I highly recommend buying this software!

Summary: It just doesn't get any better than this software!!!!!
Review: I came to this site to leave a A+++ review on this product, and before I did I saw some negative comments from other people who had written how disappointed they were.. You know I have been using computer software for a lot of years, and all I can say is these bad reviews must be from people who don't have a clue.. Not only has ResumeMaker been super easy to use, but it landed me a job within a week!!I guess you just can't please everybody, but then there are those who would complain about getting out of bed in the morning.. In fact I had purchased another product called Winway Deluxe (Resume Program)beore this and was so dissopointed I gave it away... After talking to a saleman at a software store, he had stated ResumeMaker Pro. was the only one they hear positive feedback from satisfied customers, so I bought a copy. Boy am I glad I had talked to a person who sells software for a living, and could give me straight up adive.. All I can say is do your home work and you will see what I am saying, and if you want something easy to use go get ResumeMaker Pro.. JB Everett, WA

Summary: An awesome product for both experts and a newbie
Review: I dont know why people are having problem in using this product. I would rate myself an expert in MS Word and an intermediate level user of LaTeX processing system. But this software is not about formatting and design aspects of resume it's also about effectively writing one and more importantly organizing one. The interface is very intutive and well organised and it gives you tons of formatting and designing options for changing resume's layout without even worrying about the contents. I have not gone through the Cover Letter section or any other value added feature of the package. Simply by using the resume section i am satisfied or should i say more than satisfied with the product. You can also export your resume's in word format or even in html or other electronic forms for publishing it online. For anybody who cares about his resume this is a highly recommended piece of software.

Summary: Simply does not work as adverised
Review: If all you want to do is create and print a resume you might be happy with this software. None of the other features work. Resume Maker states that you can choose from thirty different styles in which to print your resume. Doesn't work. Resume Maker also says that you can e-mail your resume and it will retain its original format. Not so. I sent a resume to a prospective employer, making sure I sent it in the format requested. (HTML) It was a mess. I had to send a hard copy by
UPS. Individual Software has yet to responed to e-mails sent to customer service.

Review: Much better than I anticipated. Frustrated at first, because I too could not import my resume from a MS Word document, & had to enter the data myself (poor me). BUT, it is was well worth the effort! Pleasantly surprised with this OUTSTANDING product that was worth every penny. My only regret is not using this software sooner. One caveat: my computer is rather new, and I have a very fast Internet connection. Therefore, I am not sure I can recommend this product to everyone.

Review: Package clearly states it imports resumes. When you get to that part it tells you that if you want to import it will have to be plain text (i.e. no Word docs), with bullets and formatting removed. Well, that's pretty much just not importing. Secondly, the program hangs on XP all the time. I have a brand new machine, with patches. And I updated Resume Maker right off. Still hangs. Really, this is a waste of money. I'm giving up on it and going back to Word. All the other 'features' (sample resumes, etc.) can be found at many websites.
