Summary: Excellent value/Great Sound
Review: I have been listening to a pair of Diamond 8.3's for several weeks. I am very pleased with their performance. Sound is clearly and accurately reproduced. Bass is very adequate and the Diamond subwoofer I purchased seems extraneous. One indicator of the quality of sound reproduction is the very noticeable differences in source material quality. Modern digital recordings sound MUCH better than older analog material. With my previous stereo setup the difference was apparent but not pronounced.
These speakers are attractive and seem solid and well constructed. The 5 way binding posts make secure connections easy. I recommend these speakers without reservation

Review: I just got this speakers, and I like it very much. I do not have a lot of experience on speakers, but for the price I think these are really nice. I am not sure what other speakers that I could get it from such price. One bad thing is that the grill is cheaply made. These does sound nice.

I got these when amazon had it around $250 pair shipped. I am not sure what other speakers that I could get it from such price. I was looking at mission bookshelf speakers, but with the bookshelf + stand probably cost more than what I wanted to pay for speakers. One bad thing is that the grill is cheaply made. These sound nice.

Pick up any Hifi Magazine, Check out a HiFi website; they all say the same thing: You need these. I am selling my $1000 speakers to get these. They are hard to find, but Amazon seems to have plenty!
