Link It Software's Job Master is a complete, economical, Windows-based production control and tracking application for small- to medium-size manufacturers and job shops. Job Master has every feature required to produce a job, from the initial bid through its production and on to shipping. It's network ready and includes every module for a single price, including quotations, sales orders, shop travelers/work orders, inventory, invoicing/POs, and shipping. Job Master produces bills of materials, bills of lading, sales commission reports, invoices, purchase orders, RFBs, certifications, inspection reports, and more. It works with QuickBooks, Peach Tree, and Microsoft Excel. Currently in use in hundreds of companies, Job Master comes complete with a step-by-step user's guide and implementation manual to streamline the installation process. Job Master allows users to develop quotes and produce subsequent sales orders with a click of the mouse, and another mouse click produces a Shop Traveler (the internal work order for the job). Shop Traveler explains and tracks each production step throughout the complete production sequence. The module produces a bill of materials, inspections, and inspection reports, and, if required, produces certifications when a job is completed. Job Master is also bar-coding enabled for the tracking of work orders. Job Master tracks inventory, as well as partial shipments and delivery backlogs. It also tracks work and order histories, projects sold but not yet entered into production, and work in progress. Operators can pull date-range reports showing products that have been shipped and invoiced in a selected time frame, and the number and value of jobs still in production. Job Master is everything required for job shops or small- to medium-size manufacturers to take a job from bid to production and shipment.
