Summary: A major upgrade for stability and productivity
Review: - and a minor one for new features. I started out with Fusion MX a couple of years ago and upgraded on the day I got the offer.The user interface is greatly improved, as is stability. In fact it is an effective package for creating AND maintaining even complexly structured web sites. My two primary sites are 150 and 50 pages, and changing the structure is easy and effective. The few downsides are un upload (ftp)-feature that does not allow only to upload truly changed pages, and that large clunks of Excel data will make the files unstable. Or maybe I just I haven't found the way to do it right. The database-facility is rudimentary. The final point is that the html files produced should have been leaner. I actually enjoy working with Fusion 7 because it is heavily focused on getting the job done, and it does it, and very nicely, too! Much appreciated and heavily recommended.

Summary: Difficult to use
Review: Having read many of the reviews, I believe that the high ratings given to this product are given by people who are already using Net Objects products or have experience in building sites.
Never having built a site or used any program like this, I find Fusion difficult to use and the help available is poor at best. The "Getting Started" book is very limited and the "Help" that comes on the cd is hardly helpful. Many times, the help section simply states what can be done with the software rather than describing how to do it. I have contacted the "Support" at Net Objects only to receive conflicting answers to the same question.
I have been trying to learn Fusion for two weeks now and have yet to figure out how to change a background on a site page. This software is very frustrating and in no way easy to use.

Summary: If I can do it, you can!
Review: I am an absolute novice, what I don't know about computers is frightening. Still, with NetObjects, I was able to get a 32 page website up and running in no time. It is extremely simple to use, the instruction is very easy to understand, and the tech support is stellar. If you are looking for something basic and easy to understand, this software is for you. But don't be fooled this isn't something you'll use once or twice and then outgrow. My one complaint is the inability to change site template colors. And, you may want to pick up some graphic software to go with it. If you want to build a website, but don't know if you can - get NetObjects - if I can do it, so can you.

Summary: I Hate This Program!
Review: I bought this program based on the reviews that it recieved on Amazon.com, but I wish I would have investigated further! The program is easy to use and the graphics are different. But, While working on my website with this program I lost weeks worth of work because of some glitch in the programming. The first time I lost evrything that I saved. Everything was just gone when I opened it the next time. After starting over from scratch, I lost everything a second time when it saved all my pages as My Home page. I lost my photo galleries and everything else! I do not reccomend this for some one with a low tolerance for frustration!

Summary: Quick and easy low priced
Review: I have been using Homesite, Dreamweaver, Frontpage for a while.
This software has been enhanced. This software is good from novice to professional. I built a 14 page website in a day.
A easy to use web site generator. Cascading style sheets, great layout tools, organizational chart style page links, animated buttons, etc.You'll need graphics software to go with this product

Summary: Net Object 7.0 is wonderful!
Review: I have never used Dreamweaver or Frontpage, and I have never before used any Net Objects software. Before this, I had used page builders from sites such as Geocities. I installed Net Objects and started playing with it before reading any instructions, or going through any of the tutorials. I already have several pages of a new web site done, complete with photos, buttons and other objects. I have referred to the book and help sections only twice. Everything else was easy to figure out without a hassle. I would definately reccomend this software for beginners as well as more advanced users. This software is fun, easy use and understand.

Summary: GREAT software!
Review: I HIGHLY recommend this product. I was a Fusion MX user and upgraded to 7.0 3 months ago. This is hands down the best web-design tool. I learned web design the NetObjects way. Now I have Dreamweaver and Adobe GoLive and I almost exclusively use NetObjects Fusion 7. It is FASTER, EASIER to understand, and LOGICAL. Easily the most logical web-design software I have used. Fusion 7 is way more than adequate for 90% of all individual, small business (and most large business) websites. The best thing is virtually anyone can learn to use it almost immediately and after using it for a couple of weeks you will be a virtuoso. Of all software I have used (not just for web design, but across the board) this has been the most pleasant surprise ever.

Summary: WoW, Nothing Like Front Page!
Review: I learned to build web pages with FrontPage 2000. This is nothing like FrontPage. This is going to take some time to learn and get use to. I am a little discouraged, but will give it more time. Nothing what I expected. I'm seriously thinking I should have upgraded to Frontpage 2003. Maybe I will write a better review once I get to know what in the hell I'm doing.

Summary: A great program to put up a website easily and effectively
Review: I was planning to put up a website in a few months or so. The problems I have in doing this are: 1) I don't know a HTML from a hole in the wall, 2) I don't want to get Frontpage or Dreamweaver and totally lose my sanity and cash, and 3) It was very hard finding a web design program that was user friendly and powerful as well.
I looked at many of the "standards" out there such as EasyWeb and a truckload of others until I stumbled upon NetObjects Fusion 7. This version was selling at a great price and I thought the gamble was worth it. It turns out it wasn't a gamble at all. I hit the jackpot.
NetObjects Fusion 7 sounds like a planet that Capt.Kirk might visit in Star Trek, ( "Ahead warp factor 4, Sulu. Set a course for NetObjects Fusion 7...") but in fact, it is a feature filled program that will get you up and running with your first web design in less than half an hour. They say 10 minutes, but I like to take my time with these sort of things. The instruction manual guides you through each step of developing your own web page with many hints and tips. The program also delves into the deeper aspects of HTLM and what not, so it is a program that you can develop your skills with. I've played around with it for about a week now and am thoroughly impressed with the ease in which a website can be developed. The program has many templates that are ready made to use. You can also customize these templates or start from scratch and make your own designs. I also purchased the SiteStyles Vol. 1 add on. This is an excellent source of literaly hundreds of different website designs that you can use straight out of the box or munipulate and change to your hearts content. NOF 7 allows you to import graphics and backgrounds which makes customization a breeze. Netobjects Fusion 7 is a great program. Check often for updates and fixes as the company is constantly trying to make their product better.
I can understand the angst of some of the professional website builders. When a program comes along that is this easy and inexpensive to use, I would probably feel a little uneasy as well if I were in their shoes. NOF 7 will never replace them, but it sure has done a remarkable job of getting people like me up to speed quickly and painlessly in designing websites. Beam me up Scotty, I've seen enough.
