"...All technical support requests about an invalid serial number (so far) turned out to be a confusion between similar looking letters and numbers. For example, please check if it is an "O" (capital letter) instead of a "0" (number); or an "l" (small letter) instead of a "1". ..."
(Since I haven't used the software, I'll have to rate it a neutral "3".)

Review: Available for free after rebate. Couldn't pass it up.

Installation went exactly as described.
I no longer have to concern myself about wasting paper and ink and then having to store large printouts. I expect I will find many other uses for this product.

Summary: FRAUD
Review: Borderline criminal. Purchased this program with a serial number that does not work. Customer service at Xelarate seems none exists. I believe its companies like Xelarate who caused the tech bubble to burst. The company is behaving like they are operating out of a garage in India or Pakistan. I WHAT MY MONEY BACK!!!

Summary: Powerpdf came with invalid serial number!
Review: I bought my copy of PowerPdf (published by the company XELERATE) on Sunday, May 5 and tried to install it. The serial number I was provided with in the documentation is invalid. I went to the web site to contact the vendor about it. In order to send an e-mail to the tech support people, you are required to "register" at the site. Being obedient, I clicked on the "registration" link - and got a blank page. There is no way to contact the vendor at this point as no phone number is provided, nor an alternate e-mail address. I can't recommend a company or a software that is ripping me off at this point. I am out ...with no recourse, at this point. I only hope the managers at XELERATE see this review and contact me so I can rescind this review of their very poor "quality control". I'd like to try out the product.

Summary: Serial number error???
Review: I bought this product with great skepticism because so many users were having problems with serial number. When I installed the software I was getting the same problem. I noticed that the there are clearly what appears to be 2 "l" (lower case L) in the serial number. I replaced the first "l" with "I" (upper case i) and the serial number was accepted. The product works great and I absolutely love it.

Review: I converted my first two files within about 15 or 20 minutes of recieving this software. The second file was an entire book with many diagrams. PowerPDF was very easy to use. The serial number was very clear and I had no problem with it. The third file that I tried to convert was also very big and complex and PowerPDF didn't convert it. I then went to the site to download the patch, but didn't find one. All these files were created with Microsoft Word 2000 and Microsoft Paint.

Review: I encountered the same problem of the invalid serial number when installing this program. There are several "l" and "I" in my serial number which were shown in the font of arial, and it is impossible to tell they should be "l" or "I". Therefore, I tried several different conbination and finally worked. I also found, you cannot just change the serial number by re-entering a different letters; you have to click "back" and then enter the whole serial number. For those who may have the same problem, give it another shot! Good luck!
