Review: I paid eighty dollars for my pair on Black Friday, but even at that appealing price point I am not sure if I will keep them or not.

These little speakers put out an amazing amount of bass...and not much else. Despite their impressive weight, these speakers' midrange and treble are both pretty lacking---muddy or non-existent, at turns. And since I already have a powered subwoofer, all that nice bass is kind of useless.

As rear surround speakers, maybe they'll do.
