Rating: Summary: Outstanding performers Review: Knowing the reputation that Wharfedale has had over the years I gave these tiny guys a chance. ...they finally made it to my home. I hooked them up to my Anthem AMP 1 tube amp and could not believe my ears! The bass extension was unbelieveable. I just could not understand how such a tiny box could fill my room with this much bass. I turned my sub off. I run a straight line W/ gain pre-amp system with no tone controls whatsoever, I can tell you the range of these little guys is impressive. Nice fit and finish, forget about the grill covers, you don't need them and man are they cheap. Make sure you have some nice stands for these speakers if you want to hear them at their best. Make sure you bi-wire these guys as well. Kind of a funky binding post for the spk connections, won't take spade connections but will take banana. the tweeter has some short comings, a little coloration around the 4 to 10 k range but hey I can live with that for this little money. Nice speaker and a great bargin for the money.
Rating: Summary: Possibly the best speaker ever made (for the money) Review: Take a pair of these diminutive speakers to your neighborhood audiophile dealer and ask to demo his best equipment through them. Ask to A/B these speakers with his best bookshelf speakers and his best floorstanders. Listen to your favorite music with your eyes closed and have the tech switch back and forth between the speakers. While all speakers are "different" I'll lay odds you'll find the 7.2's as musically pleasing as the best speakers offered. When you consider that the price of a pair of these 7.2's from Ebay run less than $100 delivered you will HAVE TO AGREE with the review title...oh yeh...remember to get your speakers back from the tech (who's probably hidden them away already!!). Real wood veneers (rosewood, oak, and black) blow away ANYTHING I've heard several times the price...everyone who has ever demoed a pair of these have purchased them (and have thanked me NUMEROUS TIMES). Find these speakers and buy them. They recreate the music the way the artist intended. They seem to have a magical way of understanding what the musicians are playing and adjust accordingly. Punchy deep base for Rock/Rap/Jazz/Blues/Country incredible mids and highs for acoustic and classical recordings..

Rating: Summary: Wow!!! Review: These are some great little speakers. I purchased 1 set of the Rosewood Anniversaries blindly to see how they would sound and when I got them I was impressed. I turned around and ordered two more sets and a center speaker. They work great in a home theatre setting where size is an issue. And believe me, these Wharfies can hold their own when compared to other speakers costing a lot more.
