Review: ...really it does. I have been using this product for the past two weeks. I trained the application for 45 minutes, using the training software provided. I'm dictating this review using the software.
The training application had easy to use instructions. Previous voice recognition products always had problems with my voice (it could be my accent). The feature that I most appreciate on this product is the training the application to write per your voice. You can even customize the vocabulary to match the words that you frequently use.
Another good thing about this product is that it will recognize the various users voices of your computer. You can have the voice of your children, spouse and if you're working between your home and office it could understand the voice of your secretary.

Summary: Version 6.0 UNUSABLE.
Review: A number of first releases of this version were shipped without CD Keys--or so I was informed by tech support after being sent from from one defunct customer service number to another. Tech support told me that my Key-less product was unusable, but that they were not authorized to issue a new number.
I called customer service, but was put on hold until after they stopped taking calls (5:00PM).
I called back the following day, but again was left on hold for 30 minutes, before giving up.

Review: Excellent product - not perfect. Takes a little time to "train" the software, but it works well. Actually does a number of things that I did not expect. Documentation is excellent which is a major plus compared to some software.

Summary: nothing but trouble
Review: First, I installed the microphone provided with the software. It made my computer run much slower for some reason.
Then, I tried to install the software, but could not get past the first step, which required me to enter a "cd key code" that was listed on the sleeve for the cd. It was an invalid code. This evidently is not an unusual problem, as there was information on the company's webpage about what to do about this situation. I was directed to contact their technical support service, but to be sure to obtain the "version number" of my product. The directions for doing this did not fit with the options that extisted in reality, and I was unable to obtain this number. There is a charge for contacting their technical support service, but I contacted them anyhow thinking that they could not possibly charge me for not being able to get past the first step of the installation process due to some sort of problem with their product, but I was told that there would indeed be a charge for obtaining a valid "cd code." I hung up and promptly boxed up the product for return.

Review: I am preparing this review with version 6.0 of the product. In other words, I am dictating the review straight into the computer. I was skeptical about the product, even after reading excellent reviews. However, after working with the software for just a couple of hours I began to achieve excellent results. I recommend this software for anyone looking to dictate directly into the computer. Make sure you have configured your computer with a fast processor and sophisticated RAM. Based on the many reviews I have read and on my own experience I believe this is critical.

Review: I am very glad they had enhanced this product, I had installed in my coputer Version 3, and I can tell you that I had all kind of difficulties with it, it wasn't that accurate like I was expecting to be, I had to learned how to type anyway, so I'll be concise about it, I unistalled it and never installed another one again. So I say if they improved the system I might try it again to see how it works, because to be honest I don't trust it at all.

Review: I had the microsoft version that work with Word. It worked only with word, had a bad problem understanding my Scottish-Kentucky accent (LoL) and made a really bad mess in micros that ruined by version of Word and I had to uninstall competely.This voice recognition system is much superior and works with all of Windows programs so its good for even outlook!! Very nice for those with trouble typing, such as young kids or people with arthritis.
