Rating: Summary: Anti-shock + volume = static Review: After reading the many positive reviews of the Casio, I was extremeley dissapointed in the quality of the player. The sound is very good when the anti-shock mechanism is turned off, but the lightest of movement causes it to skip. Turn on the anti-shock, and you can throw it around without a skip - BUT play anything above a '3' on the volume and you'll get major distortion. I tried changing headphones, listening to it through the car adapter - all static filled. Sadly, it's not worth it.

Rating: Summary: POOR QUALITY! Review: Bought this product for Christmas, and it worked until mid-May. Of course, the warranty period is only 90 days, so I am out of luck. If you're looking for a disposable personal CD player, you can find one for less; if you want one that will last, look to other brands. Thanks, Casio!

Rating: Summary: All in all, a good value. Review: I bought mine so that I can listen to CDs when I go to the gym. I like the fact that it has AntiShock, and 40 seconds of it at that. I workout with it and have yet to get it to skip. My only complaint is that the headphone seem flimsey and don't handle the base that well, but I have found that most personal music players come with cheap headphones.

Rating: Summary: You get what you pay for, but it's not always bad Review: I bought this because it was the cheapest portable CD player that actually looked like it would work. Happily, it does. I was expecting all kinds of problems with it, but it really is a decent player. It's relatively hideous (all cheap plastic), and it doesn't feel like dropping it would be a good idea, but it plays music, it doesn't skip under reasonable conditions, and it has decent battery life. It certainly isn't a perfect device, but if all you're looking for is a cheap way to listen to music on the go, it'll probably be just fine.

Rating: Summary: Very disappointed Review: I bought this CD player for my son for Christmas. He has probably used it 15 times at most and it just stopped working. It was great while it worked but it just didn't work very long. The warranty only lasted 90 days so we're out of luck.
