Rating: Summary: Good product Review: I don't have any problem with the adapter and the sound quality is good. In my opinion, it deserves 4.5 stars. Actually most of the bad reviews here for this product are not fair. At least one should not complain about a product because he/she couldn't receive it from a retailer or received a wrong product. He/She should point his/her finger to the retailer, instead.
Rating: Summary: Product never received Review: I ordered this product on May 31, 2004 and today is July 5th and I still haven't received it. I was told because I used regular mail to have it shipped that it was basically my fault that I don't have it. The postal service doesn't take over a month to ship a product from eastern pa to western pa. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service I have received to date....

Rating: Summary: What you pay for is really what you get Review: I wanted to buy a Car Kit to listen to my MD player inside my car. After browsing around the web, I found this Coby Car Kit Adapter which had everything I needed at a good low price. I ordered it immediately. After it arrived, I plugged the adaptor in my cigarette lighter to test it out and the fuse burned out. I was going to send it in to the manufacturer but realized that they actually charge you 10$ shipping and handling on this item. Thus, I just took it apart and realized it was only the fuse and bought another one at radio shack and it seems to be working fine right now. Besides that, the sound quality isn't too bad.
Rating: Summary: It works well, but has a few issues Review: My daily 2+ hour commute is eased by having my MP3 player hooked into my desk using this cassette adapter. I have had it for a couple of months now and as far as the durability goes, it has held up well compared with a Radio Shack cassette adapter that it replaced (since the connectors around the plug came apart.)I do have a couple of somewhat significant issues with it: 1) the cassette adapter will reverse directions on a random, varying basis; this will happen at least two to three times each hour, but sometimes more. I know that this not necessarily caused by the player since it has happened with the cassette in the deck and the MP3 player off. 2) the power plug has different power plugs to mate with different types of players, but the adapter plug can easily get tugged away from its cord - there should be a better way to secure this; this can be easily be corrected with some electrical tape, but it is a minor nuisance. It has required that I be careful with where I route the cords to make sure that it is out of the way. Otherwise, I think this player and power cord is a good value and would purchase one again
Rating: Summary: Coby Universal Portable CD/MD car kit Review: The picture shows the cassette feature along with the car kit. The cassette did not come with the kit. Very disappointed!

Rating: Summary: bad information below Review: You must have received CA-709 (without the cassette component) by mistake. CA-706 is prepackaged with the cassette component.
