SuSE Linux eMail Server is an open-source solution based on components that comply with Internet standards such as SMTP, IMAP4, POP3, or LDAP. SuSE Linux eMail Server III integrates almost the entire range of e-mail protocols of the Internet world. It can supervise large e-mail pools and centrally administrates all mail on one server in accordance with the IMAP standard. No matter where they may be located or which e-mail client they use, users have access to their messages and folders via the Internet or the company LAN. And the central data storage enables uncomplicated and comprehensive data backups. SuSE Linux eMail Server maintains mail lists via shared folders. External subscribers are managed through an extra account. SuSE Linux eMail Server III can now set up and administer both internal and external mailing lists.
