Summary: turbo tax 2003 screwed us again
Review: they were so nice to let you use it on multiple computer's but now you can only file 1 return electronically. How stinking greedy are these folks. They will get no more of my hard earned money for this product. Every year iit is something else with them, they are like the government, you cannot trust them. next year I will do tax cut and I WILL TELL ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT EVER AGAIN. TT SUCKS, IT IS A MINUS 10 IN MY RATINGS.

Summary: Error for Maryland Joint Returns
Review: This software will calculate the total state and local tax due on joint returns higher than calculated from the state instructions by nearly $100. This software only gets a rating of 1 star because that is Amazon's minimum. IT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND SHOULD NOT BE SOLD FOR MARYLAND USE. I have filed taxes in Maryland for nearly 30 years. For a long time Maryland has had a subtraction on joint returns for two incomes. Turbo Tax State asks the correct questions in order to calculate the two income subtraction but does not include this subtraction in calculating the tax due. I initially did our taxes according to the state instructions and calculated that we were entitled to the maximum subtraction of $1200. When I used Turbo Tax State it calculated our taxes as $93 higher. It is impossible to determine the source of this error on the computer so I printed out our return. That shows that the amount on line 16 (Two-income subtraction) was zero. This is a completely unacceptable error in the software. Turbo Taxes' support is so poor that it is virtually impossible to get any help with this problem. I will NEVER buy this software again.

Summary: Not Multistate!
Review: We were pleased to order the Multistate Turbo Tax State 45 Multistate 2003 until we read the fine print on the box when it arrived. Our purchase price only buys the information for ONE state, additional states require additional payments! Now, I realize most people only need the tax information for a single state, but our college student managed to earn money in three different states this year-and we live in a 4th state!

Summary: TURBO TAX STATE FOR VIRGINIA ROCKS!
Review: You're a fool if you don't use Turbo Tax State in Virginia. This is my second year using TT and it was even easier the second time around. The new addition imports everything you punched in the year before and therefore takes less time to complete. Since you can't do state without having loaded TT Deluxe, the video on the CD walks you through the process and sends you to the answer if you type in a search. I had absolutely no trouble using TTS in Virginia and had my state and federal refunds within a week of e-filing. Yeah, within a week. (...)Additionally, by going through the step by step questionnaire TTS reminded me to include charity work and charitable contributions, which increased my refunds. You don't even need to buy the physical product. Once you've loaded TTD or the federal variation, you can download states off the internet. This product is better than last year. I highly recommend it. You won't be sorry. My only criticism of TT products is you can only e-file one time per purchase. (...)The secret to fast returns is e-filing.
