Summary: Ideal tool for simple web sites
Review: ... It's simple, flexible and capable. It provides an easy WYSIWYG editing view, an HTML editing view and a live preview view. Uploads are easy. It works well with frames. It has a limited range of stock graphics and the documentation is poor, but these are minor gripes compared with the pleasure of finding a clean, simple web page management tool.

Summary: IBM Top Page not ready for primetime!
Review: As a user of Frontpage I decided to try Top Page and see how it did. The first thing I noticed was the box was empty excpt for a loan CD. NO documentation is included. It is discovery learning at its worst. I hope they don't think that it isn't necessary because the program is so intutive you don't need it. If they did, Wrong Again! Don't bother to talk to IBM about it. They know what is best for you is the attitude you get.

Review: I use this for selling online. It is so great because you can use the Find and Replace function (CTRL H) in an instant within the HTML view window. This makes for easy image changing. I have found nothing else better for my own applications. I have also built a few websites with it. It is very user friendly and I would even recommend it to beginners.

Summary: Intuitive Software for Max Results
Review: IBM TopPage is the future of HTML coding! What I used to spend hours doing in VB Studio, I can do in a few minutes with Top Page.

Top Page's many built in features make using it a breeze. And the quality is what stands out: outstanding graphics control, linking without writing a line of code, and the animation effects are imbedded without you doing anything! Style sheet handling is taken care of without all the frames being static, and unchangeable. I can't begin to outline how much time this program saves me in creating complex web pages.

Top Page provides online and Tutorial help which keeps you from having to buy a companion book, which is excellent! I am recommending Top Page to all the beginning HTML programmers I know, as well as the seasoned pros.
